"Hmm~." Zahara hummed as she slowly opened her eyes, revealing her crimson crystal-like eyes, only to have them widen the moment she saw the dimly lit sky.

'Shit!' She hurriedly sat up straight, her palm moving to her forehead as she realized that, unknowingly, she had slept longer than she had hoped for.

"You're awake?" It was then that she heard a voice—gentle and endearing—calling out to her and looking at her side. She saw Alex. His back against the same tree, looking at her with a smile.

"I'm sorry—" She quickly tried to apologize for sleeping so long and almost wasting the date, but before she could complete her words, she was cut off.

"Hm? Why are you still sitting on the ground even though you're awake?" Alex questioned as he was already standing, looking at Zahara with a playful smile.
