Anton breached the internal network of the White House as early as the moment the cyborg arrived there.
With a quantum computer's brain acting as the cyborg backbone, breaking into the White House's internal systems wasn't a difficult feat. Under such circumstances, even inside the president's office, Anton could clearly hear the dialogue between Keller, Tom, and the president.
As he expected, the U.S. government, led by the president, currently had no intention of destroying Megatron.
What surprised him, however, was that the American military, which had begun utilizing the energy of the AllSpark, had come up with an unusual and dangerous idea: forming a mechanical army.
"How ignorant can they be?" Anton mused.
He didn't even need to consider the nature of the mechanical life spawned by the AllSpark. Would they obediently follow military orders and act as cannon fodder? Unlikely.
In the original timeline, almost all mechanical life created by the AllSpark turned out to be Decepticons, with a natural inclination toward destruction and chaos. This alone was enough to spell disaster for the U.S.
There are two plausible reasons why Earth's mechanical life spawned by the AllSpark consistently aligns with the Decepticons:
Whoever wields the AllSpark determines the allegiance of the life it spawns. Most of Earth's current technology is derived from Megatron's systems and innovations. Since Megatron is a Decepticon, Earth's machines inevitably adopt Decepticon traits as a result.
Both explanations seemed reasonable, but Anton leaned toward the second.
If the U.S. truly believed it could control the AllSpark and create a mechanical army, they were digging their own grave. Inevitably, they would become slaves to the very machines they sought to control and would eventually be betrayed.
Such a future would lead to a world dominated by mechanical life. Humanity would have essentially dug its own pit and jumped into it willingly.
Even the Autobots wouldn't be able to save humanity from this self-inflicted catastrophe.
"The AllSpark should never fall into the hands of these careerists," Anton sighed.
He didn't deny his own desire for the AllSpark's power, but at least he understood his limits. He wouldn't act recklessly with forces beyond his control—something the U.S. government clearly failed to grasp.
Retracting the cyborg's perspective, Anton shifted his focus back to the present.
"If it's convenient, why not visit our base? I'd like to show you our sincerity as allies," Anton said to Optimus Prime.
"Your base?" Optimus Prime echoed, surprised.
"That's right," Anton replied, approaching Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.
Moments later, the group disappeared, leaving the agents in the Sector 7 junkyard stunned.
The agents looked around in disbelief. Batman, Cyborg, the Transformers—everyone had vanished without a word.
At least say goodbye before leaving! Now what were they supposed to do?
Keep waiting? Fishing?
At a military base:
Starscream had awakened two Decepticons stationed at the same base as him: Brawl (nicknamed "devastator"), a tank, and Blackout.
The trio—Starscream, who transformed into a fighter jet, along with Brawl and Blackout—seamlessly integrated into the military base, using their alt modes to blend in perfectly.
Starscream sighed quietly.
If his calculations were correct, there were only a handful of Decepticons remaining on Earth.
As for Scorponok? That beast wasn't even considered a proper Transformer. At best, he was simply Blackout's loyal pet.
Starscream quickly shared the gathered information with Brawl and Blackout, causing both of them to perk up with excitement.
"Do you think Megatron is in that secret base in sector 7?" one of them asked eagerly.
"Could the AllSpark really be in their hands?"
Brawl and Blackout were beginning to understand the situation through their conversation with Starscream. However, when Starscream mentioned a few more details, they were taken aback.
"Barricade, Frenzy, and Bonecrusher have all disappeared?"
"So much bad luck in such a short time!"
"What on Earth could pose such a threat to them?"
They didn't believe Earth itself had anything significant to challenge Transformers. In terms of raw combat power, Barricade and Bonecrusher were more than capable of taking on an entire army. How could they suddenly vanish without a trace?
Of course, they all knew what "vanishing without a trace" really meant. It was just a polite way of saying… they were dead.
"Stay alert. Earth isn't as simple as it seems!" Starscream warned them.
To prove his point, he transmitted a video captured by the Daily Bugle during the alien attack on New York. After watching the footage, Brawl and Blackout began to rethink their views on Earth. While their opinions didn't change drastically, they were clearly more cautious.
"Batman? Cyborg? Iron Man?" Brawl muttered. "These humans look… interesting."
"Wait," Blackout interjected. "This cyborg technology doesn't seem like it's from Earth. I can't trace its origins back to this planet—it's definitely not human-made."
"That's exactly why I'm telling you to be vigilant," Starscream said in a stern voice. "Judging by this Justice League organization, it's clear that Earth had already made contact with aliens before we arrived. And then there's this individual called Superman… hiding in plain sight. Whatever happens, we cannot repeat the mistakes of Barricade and Bonecrusher."
"Understood!"
"Don't worry!"
Both Brawl and Blackout pounded their chests in a show of determination.
"The next step is to find the AllSpark," Starscream declared. "If we can acquire it, we will become the heroes of Cybertron. The entire planet will sing our praises, and we'll dominate not just Cybertron but Earth as well!"
"Heroes?" Blackout snorted with laughter. "Hearing that word from your mouth, Starscream, is unbelievable."
"What about Megatron?" Brawl interrupted. "Where is he?"
"Megatron may be where the AllSpark is… or he may not," Starscream replied coolly. "But let me make one thing clear: our primary objective is not finding Megatron—it's securing the AllSpark."
"Fine," Blanch muttered, accepting the reasoning.
Among the Decepticons, everyone was aware of Starscream's ambition. Even Megatron himself understood it to some degree. However, this was something Megatron had chosen to tolerate—for now.
"Next, we target this location," Starscream continued, sharing a map with his companions.
On the network interface of the three Decepticons, one location glowed red: the Hoover Dam.
Elsewhere, in a distant galaxy…
A massive technodrome floated in the void of space. Inside, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee materialized, having been teleported to the fortress.
Their optics widened in surprise as they took in the unfamiliar surroundings.
"We're in space," Optimus Prime said, his deep voice resonating. "Based on our coordinates, this isn't even the solar system… Batman, is this the base of the Justice League?"
"Yes," Anton confirmed, stepping forward. "This is the League's base."
He gestured toward a central teleportation device located within the warship. "Once everything is resolved, I'll use this technology to send all Transformers back to Cybertron."
"Intergalactic teleportation?"
Optimus Prime was momentarily stunned. He hadn't expected to see such advanced technology on Earth—or anywhere else for that matter.
"You've already mastered something this advanced?" Prime said, his tone filled with astonishment. "It's… incredible."
