102. The Brown-Checkered cat

I walked into the bathroom, along the dirt road because my feet were equally wet anyway, and I would rather not add dirt footprints to the road.

Inside the bathroom, I raised my leg to wash the soles of my foot in the sink.

Jude entered, and I noticed immediately because I could smell his aftershave. Besides that, there was a mirror in front of me, through which I could see the shadow coming closer in the corner of my eyes. 

But seeing that he made no sound when walking, I wanted to see what he was up to.

While I washed my foot, I was unsure when to stop because the shadow behind me grew bigger. I was in the midst of saying something to diffuse this strange situation, but Jude leaned to me, rendering me unable to move.

He was so close to me that even without my eyes, without my nose, without my ears, I could still feel him, as my back was nearly in contact with his chest.
