Chapter 5: Elysium

Core, Origin Dimension. Before the First Cosmos

After Zenith's reminder, I considered the energies at my disposal and how best to integrate them with Genesis Core.

Having carefully assessed my options, I used Telepathy and Telekinesis, directing them toward the core. Genesis Core responded swiftly, transforming the latent energy of the Origin into pure Psionic Energy.

As this Psionic Energy surged from Genesis Core, it radiated throughout the Origin dimension.

With the combined power of my Dimensional Authority and Reality Manipulation, alongside Zenith and Elys, we began reshaping the very fabric of the Origin.

From the heart of the Genesis Core, I created an immense floating landmass, vast as a continent and suspended like a vision of Asgard in the sky. The Genesis Core sat at its center, radiating power. Around it, forests, mountains, and rivers of flowing energy appeared, shaped by Zenith's and Elys's unique touches, creating a landscape of mystery and beauty.

Next, I imagined a grand castle crowning this core, blending the intricate charm of Saint Basil's Cathedral with an otherworldly, enigmatic presence. With Reality Manipulation, it took shape—the castle materialized, standing proudly above the core, with radiant energy cascading from its towers.

Using Dimensional Authority, I condensed energy into streams of water, flowing gracefully around the castle. Zenith and Elys shaped surrounding structures—grand halls, elegant buildings—preparing a home for beings yet to inhabit this realm. Intricate energy bridges connected every part of the city into a seamless network.

With Genesis Core at the center, I refined the energy flow, allowing it to circulate through the castle, dispersing power throughout the Origin.

Together, Zenith and I named this realm Elysium, in honor of Elys, the will of the dimension.

Elysium became a place where energy intertwined, a utopia that held the promise of new beginnings—a home for those yet to come.

Zenith floated beside me, and a radiant crystal appeared in my inventory, gifted by the system. 'This is the Radiant Essence Crystal,' she explained. 'It helps anything grow by absorbing surrounding energy.' I asked if it could help Elysium evolve on its own using the core's energy. She confirmed, smiling knowingly.

I fused the Radiant Essence Crystal with the Genesis Core, instantly forming a deep connection with Elysium, allowing it to absorb latent energy from the core to sustain itself.

With Elysium complete, we began shaping nine energy bodies. In the absence of time, we worked. There was no dawn, no dusk, only the steady rhythm of energy flowing through our hands, boundless and patient. We forged nine vessels from the energies of Origin, weaving each being with meticulous care and purpose, our combined energies imbuing them with unique intent.

With a command, I called upon the Genesis Core to bestow sentience upon these forms, breathing life into them in one definitive act.

The first to gain sentience was the being we envisioned as the leader of her kind. Her entire form radiated pure Psionic energy, her ethereal body a swirling blend of shimmering blues, silvers, and faint purples.

Her glowing eyes opened, bright and piercing like stars, but filled with a mix of wonder and uncertainty.

She glanced around, taking in her surroundings with an air of confusion, her gaze lingering on every unfamiliar detail. There was a childlike curiosity in her movements.

Sensing her disorientation, I exchanged a look with Zenith, who immediately understood. With a gentle wave of telepathic energy, Zenith transmitted all the foundational knowledge into her mind. The being's expression softened as the information settled within her, the initial confusion giving way to a quiet understanding and newfound awareness.

While she was grounding herself in this new reality, processing the vast knowledge she had just received, I turned my attention to the system notifications.

Zenith appeared by my side once more to explain the reward. 'This time, you have unlocked a perk called Power Bestowal. With this perk, you can grant any of your powers or a part of your abilities to another being. However, the recipient must be capable of handling the powers and should already share a connection with you. Alternatively, you can bestow powers through physical contact.'

Since I lack a physical form, I can only bestow powers through connection for now.

Once I finished reviewing the notifications, it appeared that the leader had already processed the information. The other eight beings had also gained sentience and absorbed the knowledge, likely transferred to them by Zenith through telepathy.

As the nine newly-formed beings gathered before me, they instinctively bowed, filled with awe and gratitude.

The leader, spoke softly yet firmly on their behalf, "Great Creator, Maker of our being, we honor you."

I felt a surge of pride as I looked at them, the first of their kind. "You don't need to bow," I said warmly. "Stand tall—you were born with purpose. You may call us the Founders."

They rose, their luminous gazes filled with wonder and devotion. I stepped forward, looking upon the first among them, my voice steady and clear. "You are the First of your kind, Syntari. I name you Lunaris." I watched as her form pulsed with recognition and pride, her name settling into the core of her being. 

Turning to the others, I continued the ritual, speaking each name with purpose. "Sage," I announced to the golden one, radiating wisdom and calm. "Chronos," I named the one with blue circle patterns, exuding a timeless presence. "Fortuna," I called to the one with pink and blue energy, embodying grace and abundance. "Warden," for the one with blue hues, grounded and protective. "Seeker," glowing in green, vibrant with curiosity. "Mystic," with her pink form and rainbow-hued hair, giving off a mystical, otherworldly aura. "Shade," the ghostly, shrouded figure, quiet and elusive. And finally, "Cipher," the violet-hued one, precise and enigmatic.

I outlined their roles: "You nine will be known as The Council. Together, you will guide the Syntari, nurturing their growth and reporting to us."

I then bestowed each with Infinite Potential, making Lunaris an all-around leader and granting the others specialized abilities in unique fields.

Next, I formed a ball of psionic energy, inviting Zenith, Elys, and the Council to contribute their power. After infusing it with Infinite Potential, I divided it into a thousand smaller fragments, creating simple energy bodies that gained sentience at my command.

These newly created Syntari shimmered with vibrant, flowing energy. Their forms were fluid and mystical, woven from countless streams of light that swirled around them in hues of blue, gold, and silver. Their presence felt like stardust woven into ethereal beings, each one radiating with a quiet, profound purpose, as if carrying the essence of the cosmos itself within.

I entrusted The Council with guiding the Syntari to adapt to Elysium. Zenith was granted full authority over the Genesis Core to manage the flow of energy and Elysium's growth, while Lunaris received partial authority to support in this task.

Zenith then explained my newly received reward: "Ryan, you've unlocked the hidden 'Inspect' function in the system. This allows you to view a general overview of anything you wish to know about." Pleased with this addition, I immediately tested "Inspect" on Zenith and Elys. A summary of information about each of them appeared clearly in my mind.

I was immediately happy with this function now I can gain general understanding of anything that I wanted to know about. I immediately used "Inspect" on Zenith and Elys and a general information appeared about them appeared in my mind.

I was surprised when I examined Zenith's panel. I knew her power was linked to mine, but discovering that she embodies the manifestation of seven virtues was an unexpected delight. Elys's panel, however, was as I anticipated; she possesses all the abilities I have within the Origin dimension, along with additional powers fitting her high level. Satisfied, I then used "Inspect" on the Genesis Core.

As I examined the details of the Genesis Core, a sense of awe washed over me, despite my intimate knowledge of its capabilities. This was far more than a mere energy source; it was a true force of transformation—capable of converting energies, granting life, and evolving by absorbing traits from other beings. Its potential to support Elysium's growth and adapt as needed exceeded anything I could have envisioned.

I knew it was overpowered. Yet, even with this knowledge, seeing the full extent of its power laid out before me left me marveling. The Genesis Core was not simply a tool; it was the very essence of creation within this dimension, a manifestation of limitless possibility.
