Loud footsteps and the ground vibration had me turning around, but I couldn't look at the Alpha Prince. My heat had flared up again and was still trying to push me towards him. It was almost painful to stand here and not touch him. Such was this curse.

This was why I needed to stay away from Eryx as much as possible. Otherwise I will end up finishing the mate process. Neither of us want that.

Eryx's large hand clamped down on my shoulder. "Time to go, Lli." My eyes shot up past his chest. He wasn't even looking at me but Sverre. "You will watch that tongue of yours, Crow."

"Of course, Alpha." Sverre dipped his head.

"Crow?" I whispered, looking at the beast of an Alpha Prince in question.

Eryx's eyes snapped down to me as he moved to my side and pushed me forward. "Enough from you, Lli. You've done enough for one night."
