Collision of Secrets

I couldn't think straight, my mind a hurricane of fury and betrayal. My footsteps echoed down the long hallways of the mansion, my heart pounding in sync with each angry step I took as I stormed toward Bruno's study.

I had heard enough lies, felt enough deceit to last a lifetime. And now, I was going to confront the one man responsible for it all.

Bruno.

He thought he could manipulate me, control me like I was just another pawn in his world of dominance. He had used Elena, played with my body, and now he thought he could hide behind his power and title, thinking I wouldn't find out the truth.

I didn't bother knocking as I reached the heavy oak door of his study. My hand slammed down on the handle, and I shoved the door open with all the force I could muster.
