Oscar's Divine Assist

Ma Hongjun and Oscar were both getting drunk. Initially, there was still a bit of tension between them due to the previous Soul Fight match, but once the alcohol kicked in, they started calling each other brothers.

Ma Hongjun, clearly tipsy and spouting drunken nonsense, said, "Brother Zong, you're older than me by a month or two, so from now on, you're my big brother. I really admire you, especially for finding such a beautiful sister-in-law like Zhuqing."

Oscar, though also drunk, was still somewhat sober, but he couldn't help but glance at Ning Rongrong from the corner of his eye, feeling a pang of jealousy.

He then looked at Zong with frustration. How was there such a huge difference between them? He had been chasing after Ning Rongrong for over four months without making any progress, while Zong had managed to win Zhu Zhuqing's heart within just a month.

Sigh, comparing himself to others was just disheartening. Oscar softly said to Zong, "Zong... no, Brother Zong, can you teach me how to get girls?"

Zong was momentarily surprised, then smiled knowingly and asked, "Why? Have you set your eyes on someone?"

Oscar glanced at Ning Rongrong and nodded slightly.

Just then, Ning Rongrong approached them. Seeing Oscar and Zong talking and occasionally glancing her way, she felt puzzled and asked, "What are you two talking about?"

"Nothing, nothing. I was just asking Zong for some cultivation advice," Oscar stammered as he quickly pulled Zong away, who willingly followed.

Zong, pretending to be puzzled, asked, "Don't tell me you're talking about Ning Rongrong?"

Oscar nodded silently.

"I have a way to help you win her over," Zong said mysteriously.

Oscar's eyes lit up with excitement, and he beamed, "Quick, tell me, tell me!"

"Look here." Zong pointed at his own eyes.

Oscar, not understanding, instinctively looked into Zong's eyes, and the two locked gazes.

"Illusion—Sharingan"

As Zong said this, his eyes slightly closed before reopening, revealing blood-red irises with three tomoe spinning counterclockwise in his pupils.

After some time passed, Zong and Oscar returned to the private room. Zong glanced around and noticed that everyone had almost finished eating, and many were already heavily intoxicated.

The ones who had drunk the most were Flender and Zhao Wuji. They couldn't stop praising Zong's century-old spirit wine, and even Yu Xiaogang had drunk quite a bit.

Fortunately, Flender and Zhao Wuji were both Spirit Saints, so they weren't completely incapacitated. Yu Xiaogang, on the other hand, was completely out of it.

Zong suggested, "Dean Flender, everyone has had a lot to drink. I've booked some rooms, so let's stay at the hotel tonight."

Flender scratched his head apologetically. "That's too much. I can't let you spend so much."

He knew how expensive this hotel was.

"But I've already paid for the rooms. It'd be a waste if no one uses them," Zong said, waving the room keys playfully.

Flender quickly snatched the keys, not one to pass up a free stay. "Don't waste it, don't waste it."

In the end, it was decided: Flender and Zhao Wuji would share a room, Yu Xiaogang would have his own, Ma Hongjun and Oscar would share another, Ning Rongrong would have her own room, while Zhu Zhuqing would return to the Rose Hotel with Zong, Xiao Wu, and Ye Lingling. As for the members of the Emperor Team, they each had their own arrangements, with some even staying at the same hotel.

Before leaving, Zong watched as Oscar helped Yu Xiaogang into his room, a mysterious smile appearing on his face. He hoped Yu Xiaogang would enjoy the gift he had prepared.

Earlier, outside the hotel, Zong had cast a small illusion on Oscar and given him a third of the Zimu River Water. Yu Xiaogang, already drunk, would likely become very thirsty, and when the time came, he'd naturally drink the "sweet water" Oscar had prepared.

Of course, even if he didn't, Oscar would make sure he did.

As for Ma Hongjun, Zong had a pretty good impression of him. Although he had some wild tendencies, he had a good heart, so Zong helped him back to his room.

Over the years, as Zong's spirit power increased, even though his Sharingan hadn't evolved into the Mangekyo, its power had grown significantly. With both his spirit power and mental strength far surpassing Oscar's, controlling him was effortless. When the time came, Oscar wouldn't even realize anything was wrong and would simply think he had taken care of the drunken Yu Xiaogang that night.

Zong could already imagine how amusing things would get when Yu Xiaogang realized he was pregnant.

But that was a story for another time.

Meanwhile, Zong and his group left the Sotto Hotel, strolling along the streets.

Zong was carrying a drunk Xiao Wu on his back and couldn't help but sigh. She really was a foodie, mistaking barley wine for carrot juice and getting drunk before he even realized it.

To his surprise, Ning Rongrong was walking with them, which was unexpected.

Zong looked at Ning Rongrong and frowned slightly. "Hey, didn't I arrange a room for you? Why are you following us?"

He had worked hard to get this opportunity to have Zhu Zhuqing stay with him, and with Xiao Wu drunk, though it was unlikely anything would happen with Zhu Zhuqing tonight, at least holding her while they slept would be good. After all, they wouldn't see each other for months after tonight.

But now, with Ning Rongrong tagging along, his plan to snuggle with his "little kitten" was ruined.

Ning Rongrong blushed slightly, not sure herself why she had insisted on coming along. When she heard that Zhu Zhuqing was going back to the Rose Hotel with Zong, she had impulsively offered to go too and gave her spare room key to Oscar.

Blushing, she pouted, "I... I'm just making sure you don't bully Zhuqing."

Zong rolled his eyes. "Between a husband and wife, it's not called bullying. It's called affection. Don't you get it?"

He then mischievously looked at Ning Rongrong and teased, "Aren't you worried I'll bully you instead?"

"Ah! You pervert! If you dare touch me, I'll have Grandpa Sword and Grandpa Bone take care of you," Ning Rongrong squealed, blushing as she covered her chest.

Zong's mouth twitched, and he frowned. He really didn't want to face Ning Fengzhi, that old fox. His tricks wouldn't necessarily work against him, and he might end up being outsmarted himself. "Stop covering yourself. You've got no butt, no chest. You're nothing compared to my Zhuqing. I'm not interested in you."

"Zhuqing! Did you hear him?!" Ning Rongrong, offended by Zong's comments about her figure, flared up like an angry kitten, pointing at him with frustration.

Zhu Zhuqing nodded calmly, unfazed. She was used to Zong's jokes, as he often said similar things on their dates. But the part where he said, "She's nothing compared to my Zhuqing," made her feel quite happy.

To be honest, she already felt conflicted about the situation with Xiao Wu. While she couldn't force Zong to break up with Xiao Wu, she could tell that he cared deeply for her, even if he didn't say it outright.

Zhu Zhuqing was a sensitive person, and she knew Zong truly loved her, just as she loved him. Otherwise, their relationship wouldn't have progressed so naturally in the first place.

Though she had a good friendship with Ning Rongrong, she didn't want her getting involved with Zong.

Zhu Zhuqing reassured Ning Rongrong, "That's just how Zong is. Don't take it seriously."

Ning Rongrong sighed, realizing her friend was completely smitten.

As for Ye Lingling, she remained cold and distant throughout, occasionally glancing at Zong, who was carrying Xiao Wu, with a complicated expression in her eyes.
