Elara set down her fork and watched as Amara stretched, stifling a yawn that turned into something resembling a groan. Dinner had been excellent, and though the day had been long, there was an undeniable satisfaction that hung in the air between them. They cleared their plates and thanked the server before making their way to the bedroom, Amara's fatigue evident in every sleepy blink.

As they slipped under the covers, Amara's exhaustion seemed to dissolve into comfort. She nestled into her pillow, a faint smile tracing her lips. Elara, however, had other ideas.
