“You finally changed the way some of the he-wolves think,” Leo said as we finished work for the day.
“Thanks to you guys,” I laughed.
After Hayden spoke up, Nate and Leo joined in supporting she-wolves, as did more he-wolves who respected their mates.
More and more she-wolves also became brave and shared their experiences.
He chuckled. “You were the one who brought up the issue and gave all she-wolves the space to speak up their minds.”
“Hmm... True,” I grinned with victory at him which made him laugh.
“One step closer to changing the world. Good job, Lottie.” He rubbed the top of my head.
“Hey!” I moved my head to the side as he deliberately messed up my hair.
“Why does everyone always treat me like I’m still a little girl,” I grumbled as I smoothed out my hair.
“I’m your Alpha,” I glared at him.
“And I’d been the stand-in Alpha for the three years you were gone,” he countered smugly and I rolled my eyes at him.
