Consequences

BOOM!

The sound echoed as two figures crashed through the bar wall, sending debris flying in all directions. Victor, grinning wickedly, lifted Logan effortlessly and hurled him back inside the shattered building. Logan crashed into the shelves of wine bottles, glass shattering everywhere.

Victor opened his mouth, and a blast of fire surged from within, aiming directly at where Logan lay among the wreckage.

BOOM!

The alcohol ignited, causing a massive explosion that rocked the entire structure. Logan was thrown through the opposite side of the bar, the heat and force scorching the remnants of his clothes. The bar, now mostly destroyed, smoldered in ruin as Victor slowly walked through the smoke, approaching Logan with a sneer.

"How does it feel to be weak, Jimmy?" Victor taunted, standing over Logan. "Thanks to all the mutant DNA I've absorbed, I've become unstoppable."

Victor extended his claws. "My body generates a poison now. If I injected the poison to others through my claws, it infects and evolves inside its host until they die. That, along with magic and strength enhancements, makes me unstoppable. You're no match for me, Jimmy. I'll take everything from you."

As Victor got closer, Logan staggered to his feet, his eyes locked on Victor.

The explosion had done some damage to his clothes. His burnt clothes hung from his body, but he didn't take any damage.

"I see now why Hank and Ben lost to you," Logan said, his voice calm and deadly. "If they trained seriously, it would've taken them only five minutes to kill you. But they've been playing around too much."

Victor's smirk faltered, replaced by anger. "You arrogant—"

Before Victor could finish, Logan moved with lightning speed, extending his claws and severing both of Victor's arms and legs in one swift motion.

Victor groaned in pain as his limbs hit the ground, but his healing factor kicked in almost instantly, regenerating the lost limbs.

But Logan was already there, driving his claws deep into Victor's chest, pinning him to the ground and creating a crater beneath them.

Victor growled, but Logan drove his claws into his throat, silencing him.

He leaned in close, his voice a dangerous whisper. "You see, Victor, I am a werewolf but I haven't even transformed and took you down. That alone proves how strong you are. No matter how much power you think you've gained, you will always stay weaker than me."

Victor's eyes burned with fury as he tried to inject his poison into Logan, but the claws couldn't pierce Logan's skin.

Logan grinned, channeling his energy through his claws into Victor's body. Victor's eyes widened as his body began to glow from within.

Logan's grin widened. "Let's see if you can regenerate after I destroy every cell in your body."

The energy surged through Victor, causing him to glow brighter and brighter. Logan increasing the energy output whispered silently. "Goodbye, brother."

BOOM!

A massive explosion erupted, but Logan quickly absorbed the blast, containing the destruction.

As the dust settled, Logan stood amidst the ruins, surveying the shattered pieces of adamantium scattered on the ground. Victor was nowhere to be seen.

Logan looked around the wreckage, his voice low and menacing. "If you don't come out now, I'm coming for you."

"....."

Logan sighed. "Very well."

In a blur, Logan sped to the shadows, grabbing a figure that had been watching the entire fight.

He slammed her into the wall, holding both of her hands in an iron grip.

The figure—a woman—yelped in surprise, but as soon as Logan touched her, he felt his energy being absorbed.

However, with his mastery of chi, he quickly controlled the flow, allowing only a minuscule amount to be taken.

Logan narrowed his eyes at the woman, who was very beautiful and remained him of certain actress. "Who are you?"

Her eyes widened in shock. "You can touch me?"

Logan nodded slowly. "Yeah." He now got an idea about her identity.

Suddenly, several betas arrived, surrounding them. Emily stepped forward with the group with serious expression.

Logan turned to her. "Get the adamantium back to our base. Handle the aftermath."

Emily nodded. "As you wish."

Logan turned his attention back to the woman, a small smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. "Now, let's get you out of here."

Meanwhile in otherside of the world, A once-majestic palace now lay in ruins, its towering walls reduced to rubble, and its grand halls torn asunder.

The sky above was dark, filled with swirling clouds of ash and smoke, as the remnants of battle flickered with dying embers.

The air smelled of blood and death. Broken pillars, shattered glass, and remnants of ancient tapestries littered the ground, their beauty now marred by the chaos that had engulfed the place.

Among the wreckage stood Agatha, her body bruised and battered, blood trickling down her arms and legs. She gasped for breath, barely able to stay on her feet as the ground beneath her trembled from the devastation.

Before her stood Selene, unyielding and powerful, her presence commanding the broken palace like a goddess of death. Beneath her feet lay the lifeless body of Dracula, the Prince of Darkness, his once formidable form now reduced to a cold, empty corpse. His long reign of terror had ended beneath Selene's boots.

In her hand, Selene held another figure, Romulus, once the powerful Alpha werewolf and mutant. He was now barely recognizable, his face gaunt and aged, his body withered as if centuries of life had drained from him in mere moments. His limbs hung limply, his once terrifying strength now gone.

Selene's eyes glowed with dark energy as she stared down at the dying figure in her grasp. "If it weren't for Laura," she said, her voice cold and deadly, "I would've killed you. I'm only leaving you because your her father, but there won't be next time."

With a flick of her wrist, she tossed Romulus away like a discarded rag doll, his body landing with a sickening thud amongst the rubble. He was nothing now, just another casualty of her wrath.

Selene turned her gaze to Agatha, who trembled with fear, knowing she stood no chance against the sorceress.

Agatha's eyes widened, her fear paralyzing her as Selene's shadow loomed over her. "You are lucky," Selene said, her tone neutral, devoid of emotion. "I spare your life only because you are the daughter of a friend."

Agatha's trembling eased for a moment, her fear subsiding slightly as hope flickered. But then Selene's gaze hardened, and she took a step forward, her hand glowing with ominous power. "Consider yourself fortunate," she continued, her voice almost a whisper. "If it had been Logan who came after you, he would've killed every last one of you without hesitation."

Agatha gulped, trying to muster the strength to stand tall, but her body betrayed her. Her injuries were too severe, and the aura of power surrounding Selene was too overwhelming.

Without warning, Selene reached out and touched Agatha's chest, her fingers glowing with an intense light.

Agatha screamed in agony as her magic—the very essence of her power—was ripped from her body. The energy flowed from Agatha into Selene, who absorbed it effortlessly, her eyes glowing brighter with every second.

Agatha's body convulsed as the power was torn from her, her screams echoing in the desolate palace.

After sometime, it was over, she collapsed onto the ground, her body limp and powerless, reduced to nothing more than a frail, broken figure.

"If you ever thought of going after Hope again, I'll destroy you in a very cruel way and even your soul can't escape my wrath."

Agatha didn't even have the strength to trumble in fear only lay there with only small amount of life force in her.

Selene stepped back, her eyes glowing with newfound power as she tossed Agatha aside like a sack of dirt.

Agatha's body hit the ground, rolling limply among the ruins. She was no longer a threat, no longer a wielder of magic. Selene had taken everything from her.

Selene looked around at the destruction, the devastation she had wrought upon the palace. A small smile crept onto her lips as she surveyed the chaos. "I almost forgot how much I enjoyed doing this," she mused, her voice tinged with a dark satisfaction.

With a final glance at the broken palace, Selene vanished, teleporting back to Whitehaven, leaving the ruins and the remnants of Agatha and Romulus behind her.

Inside the SHIELD headquarters, the atmosphere was tense but focused.

Nick Fury sat at his desk, leaning back in his chair, a slight smile tugging at the corner of his lips as he faced Jean Grey, who sat across from him. The years had done little to age either of them, though for very different reasons.

"It's been a long time, Jean," Fury said, breaking the silence. "You haven't aged a day."

Jean returned his smile. "It's one of the perks, I suppose. And now you're the Director of SHIELD. How does it feel to be in such a powerful position?"

Fury let out a soft chuckle, leaning back in his chair. "It's more of a responsibility than anything. Power comes with staying in the shadows and keeping humanity safe, making sure things don't go sideways."

Jean nodded thoughtfully. "You've always been good at that—playing things close to the chest."

They exchanged small talk for a few more minutes, reminiscing about past missions and acquaintances, but eventually, Fury's expression turned more serious. His eye locked onto Jean's.

"The real reason I asked you here…" he began, but Jean interrupted him, already anticipating his next words. "It's about Stark, isn't it?"

Fury nodded slowly. "Yes. He's been missing for three months now. We've launched multiple rescue missions and even called in Captain Rogers. He got close but came up empty-handed. Tony's disappearance is becoming a real problem."

Jean's eyes softened. "Don't worry, Fury. The pack is already on it. You'll have Stark back within a few hours."

Then his expression turned cautious. "And what about your end? There have been some…noises. Things seem to be getting louder."

Jean's lips curled into a small, knowing smile. "It'll be dealt with by the end of today. You don't have to worry about that."

Fury's eyes narrowed, though his posture remained relaxed. "I'm always cautious, Jean. Especially when it comes to your kind."

Jean's gaze flicked toward Fury's ear, spotting a small white device hidden behind it. She raised an eyebrow. "Telepath-blocking tech, Fury? Really? You don't trust me?"

Fury smiled, his expression unreadable. "It's protocol. Has nothing to do with trust."

Jean rolled her eyes. "Sure. Protocol."

The conversation shifted to lighter topics—old battles, mutual acquaintances, and the shifting state of the world—but the tension of responsibility and looming danger hung in the air.

When their meeting concluded, Jean stood up, her confidence unwavering. "I'll let you know when Stark's back," she said, her tone calm but assertive.

Fury gave her a slight nod. "Okay And Jean, stay safe."

Jean smiled, turning toward the exit. "You too, Fury. You too."
