As Elian an Izan enjoyed their meal, Niko managed to regain his composure, but he still shot an occasional wary glance at Aria, who seemed only too pleased to remind him of the previous night.
Once breakfast was nearly finished, Izan leaned over, his tone dipping conspiratorially as he looked at Elian. "You know," he said with a soft smile, "there's more to look forward to today. I've arranged something special for us later. Thought we could use some time away from the palace."
Elian's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "Really? Where are we going?"
But Izan only smirked, refusing to spoil the surprise. "You'll see. Just… be ready."
Aria and Niko finished up and excused themselves from the room, though not without Aria throwing a final teasing grin in Niko's direction, much to his dismay.
Elian, who had watched the exchange with a warm smile, leaned back into Izan's embrace, feeling a rare sense of contentment as Izan wrap his arms around him.
