"Oi! Archie."
While Andy was setting up for the goal kick that resulted from Spencer Drummond's shot, Xavier called Archie over.
"Tell the boys to ditch the man marking," Xavier said. "Revert to the original tactics."
"Alright, coach," Archie said, then ran back to the field.
Xavier heaved a sigh when he saw Archie running back. He wasn't blind; he could see how much of a problem it was for his players to adhere to the new tactics he had implemented. He didn't act on it because James Warslow had yet to take advantage of it, but if they could open his defense with just a few passes, then that would be pretty bad.
Archie had managed to relay the message to all the defensive players; only the attackers were still relentlessly pressing in the opposition half. Xavier was a bit angry, but after he watched them for a few minutes, he realized it actually made for a good balance.
