Ethan couldn't believe what Naomi just told him. His eyes grew even bigger as he thought about her words even more. His brain tried to grasp the idea of going to the government house, his heart started beating really fast.

"The government house?"

 he said . 

"Why would they want to see me?"

As they left Alex's Estate fully, Ethan took a deep breath. 

His shaky hands reached for his mask. He looked around with worry checking if anyone was following them. When he saw no one, he took off his mask. 

His face looked pale and covered in sweat.

"I can't go,"

 he said, his voice cracking as tears filled his eyes. 

"I'm not ready for this Naomi. I don't know what they want from me."

He looked at Naomi, his eyes begging and frantic.

"Can't you take my place? I don't think I can handle facing them just yet, not in this state."

At that moment Naomi let out a sigh.
