"You bastard!"
BABY-5 was instantly enraged, her arm transforming into a weapon, a gun barrel shining with light. In a split second, scorching flames erupted from the muzzle.
"Playing with guns isn't a good idea."
Reijin calmly blocked the barrel with just one finger. The bullets seemed to misfire, only producing a thin trail of white smoke with no other effect.
Reijin withdrew his finger from the barrel, a faint layer of soot on his fingertip. Without any added Haki, bullets barely harmed him anymore. His Sage Body had drastically enhanced his physical resilience—he could easily withstand a ninjutsu without getting hurt now.
"This…"
BABY-5 was dumbfounded. She shook a small round bullet out of the gun barrel. The man before her was a true powerhouse of the sea!
"Can I invite you on a date?"
Reijin didn't care about BABY-5 shooting at him earlier. The impact from the shot was nothing more than a tickle to him.
"Is this… because you need me? Are we going right now?"
BABY-5 immediately softened, her weakness easily exploited by Reijin. The two soon found themselves at a restaurant, ordering some dishes.
But the restaurant owner eyed Reijin with a strange look, almost like he was staring at a dead man. Clearly, BABY-5's situation was well-known in this country. Plenty of fools had tried to take advantage of her before, but none of them met a good end—they all became victims of the Donquixote Family.
And Reijin!
The owner assumed he would meet the same fate—a man foolish enough to mess with a maid of the Donquixote Family.
The two of them leisurely finished their meal. At the end, BABY-5, blushing, even shyly came over to wipe Reijin's mouth, giving him the full maid treatment. Even Doflamingo probably hadn't experienced this level of service.
"Thank you. I'll cover the bill for this meal."
Reijin stood up, paid at the counter, and then walked out of the restaurant with BABY-5 in tow. From start to finish, BABY-5's face was full of admiration as she gazed at Reijin lovingly, her demeanor completely hiding the fact that she was a combat maid.
"BABY-5, how about coming to my place for a visit?"
In a nearby alley, Reijin extended the invitation.
Shadows flickered in the dark alleyway.
BABY-5 swallowed hard. She knew deep down that the man before her was no good. But having been abandoned since childhood, she had always longed to be needed by someone.
No matter what the request was, she would agree without hesitation.
In BABY-5's heart, she lacked the ability to refuse anyone's requests.
"Sure, are we leaving right now?"
The thought of rejecting him was quickly suppressed, and her face showed excitement as she clung to Reijin's arm.
"Let's go!"
Reijin chuckled and patted her head gently. In the world of pirates, there were always some with strange personalities, not much different from the people in the world of shinobi. People with such character flaws became Reijin's first targets.
He had already arrived in Dressrosa, and there was no need to worry too much about Doflamingo. The Hyuga Clan's shinobi had already begun monitoring the island, and the Nara Clan was planning how to stage a rebellion. From the moment Reijin set foot on this island, Doflamingo's downfall was set in motion.
When they arrived at the villa, before BABY-5 could even speak, a rope had already wrapped around her.
"The rope is useless on her. She's a Weapon Fruit user."
"Her body can transform into any weapon she imagines, at any time."
"There's no need to restrain her. I trust she won't try anything against me."
Reijin waved his hand toward Kakashi as he spoke. A Weapon Fruit user's abilities were only limited by their imagination.
**No matter what type of weapon, as long as she has enough stamina, she can transform into it.**
"So, this is what it means to be a Devil Fruit user! I didn't expect such bizarre abilities," Reijin mused.
"It's almost comparable to the Kekkei Genkai, truly a terrifying power."
Kakashi loosened the rope slightly, releasing BABY-5. He took a closer look at her hand, which had transformed into a blade. The ability to change one's form at will was truly unique, much stronger than even some Sharingan users.
"BABY-5, I'm really sorry. My companion was a bit rough."
"Can you tell me everything about the Donquixote Family's activities recently?"
Reijin asked warmly, intending to extract information about the Donquixote Family. As a maid who often followed Doflamingo, BABY-5 was surely privy to much of his recent activities.
"Of course," BABY-5 responded without hesitation, her eyes lighting up as she nodded.
She began recounting the recent actions of the Donquixote Family. Doflamingo had been hunting someone—a person who had stolen the Gold-Gold Fruit that Doflamingo had once displayed at an underground auction. Several years had passed since the theft, but now the Gold-Gold Fruit had reappeared, though in the form of a Devil Fruit user. This discovery had enraged Doflamingo, who placed a bounty on the Fruit user in the underworld and had been relentlessly pursuing them ever since.
Reijin smiled knowingly. "Could it be Tesoro?"
It seemed that Tesoro was just beginning to rise to power, not yet controlling the world's gold supply. This was the perfect opportunity to sharpen his blade.
A happy surprise indeed, but seizing Devil Fruit abilities was always troublesome.
"Thank you, BABY-5. But can you stay here for a while? I really need you as my maid."
Reijin gently patted BABY-5's head. At only fifteen, she was already an exceptional combatant with many lives on her hands, all thanks to Doflamingo's upbringing.
Suddenly, Reijin paused, thinking to himself, *Why am I always picking up someone else's people? It's like stealing others' relationships is easier than finding true love.*
"No problem! Here's my Den Den Mushi!"
Without hesitation, BABY-5 handed over her Den Den Mushi, the only way she communicated with Doflamingo.
"Good girl! From now on, you'll serve me well," Reijin said, patting her head again before walking away.
Two Uchiha jōnin escorted BABY-5 to a temporary underground cell they had dug. The walls were covered in sealing tags. Although unsure if it would work, they had placed them just in case.
"It seems things are getting more complicated. The king isn't home at the moment," Kakashi remarked, following closely behind Reijin.
"Are you planning to storm the so-called Royal Plateau?"
Kakashi knew the Uchiha way—charge headfirst, and if that didn't work, charge again. The pride of the Uchiha rarely allowed for elaborate schemes.
"Do you really think I'm that foolish? Did you handle the cleanup?" Reijin shot a glance at Kakashi, sensing that he was being underestimated.
"The tavern owner and all the staff have been dealt with. No one should know that you took the maid," Kakashi confirmed, having shown no mercy even to innocent bystanders. As a shinobi, he would do anything necessary to complete a mission, no matter how cruel.
"Good. Now, prepare to contact the Navy. Let's blow the lid off the Donquixote Family's secrets."
"Make it sound serious. I want Doflamingo to stay right where he is."
Reijin's face lit up with a smile as he gave the command.
