After some questioning, it turned out that Lumine's phone had gained another feature - downloading new games.
"Traveler, let's download and play together, okay?" Paimon swayed her fists excitedly, looking absolutely thrilled.
Lumine mercilessly shattered her fantasy, slowly mocking, "Your phone is gone; what game can you possibly play? Ha ha ha..."
"Hmph, Traveler, I'm your best companion. How about we take turns playing? One round each, sounds fun, right?" Paimon approached Lumine, trying to negotiate persuasively.
Lumine opened her phone, ignoring Paimon's pleas. She accessed the app store and indeed found the sole available application: Minecraft.
However, below the listing was a notice stating that a hundred Mora were required for download.
"Traveler, just one hundred Mora! Quickly, recharge and let's start playing!" Paimon flew close to the phone, glancing at the screen and eagerly urging Lumine on.
Considering briefly, Lumine took out a hundred Mora and loudly proclaimed, "Long live the Anemo Archon..."
In no time, the Mora vanished into thin air. Paimon tried to grab them but only met empty space.
"The Mora really disappeared!" Paimon stared at the phone, utterly amazed. Could it be the Anemo Archon's doing? How impressive!
Lumine opened Minecraft and settled down at the Good Hunter to start playing. Paimon, feeling restless nearby, incessantly chattered at Lumine.
"Traveler, q-quite close to falling into the fire!"
"Traveler, oh no, you're drowning... Ha! Wait, you don't actually drown!"
"That's gold, hurry up and mine it for Mora!"
Finally unable to bear it, Lumine paused her game and turned to look at Paimon.
"Why aren't you digging then?" Paimon, growing anxious, resorted to her signature move, "Floating Tricycle Kick."
"Paimon, can you please stop talking? It's so annoying!" Lumine scratched her head, her messy blonde hair becoming even more disheveled.
Paimon looked crestfallen but nodded nonetheless.
At last, Lumine enjoyed some much-needed peace. Although Paimon continued watching beside her, she remained silent.
Eventually, lunchtime arrived. Lumine stretched her neck, placing one hand on her back while raising the other arm high, loosening up.
At that moment, Sara approached with menus, her face beaming pleasantly. Ever since someone explained to her why customers were avoiding the Good Hunter, she had been reflecting on her behavior.
"Hello, what would you like to order?" Sara smiled warmly at Lumine, genuinely eager to assist.
Caught off guard, Lumine remained silent, waiting for Paimon, the food enthusiast, to speak up. However, Paimon stayed quiet, looking apprehensively at Lumine.
Seeing Paimon's unease, Lumine felt unexpectedly troubled inside.
"Two servings of Honey-Glazed Carrot Stew!" Without hesitation, Lumine ordered Paimon's favorite dish as a way to make amends.
Lumine couldn't help feeling guilty after realizing how harshly she had treated Paimon earlier. After all, Paimon was her closest friend in Teyvat Continent, and it was entirely her own fault!
Upon hearing "Honey-Glazed Carrot Stew," Paimon's face lit up with delight—typical reaction from a foodie. But when Lumine glanced over, Paimon quickly suppressed her smile.
The dishes arrived promptly, and Sara bid them "Enjoy your meal" before leaving.
Lumine watched Paimon, who continued to hover at a noticeable distance from her. Even when eyeing her favorite dish, she merely licked her lips and timidly glanced at Lumine.
"Paimon, I'm sorry; it was wrong of me earlier. I shouldn't have been so harsh. Can you forgive me?" Seeing Paimon's fearful expression, Lumine immediately stood up and admitted her mistake.
Upon hearing Lumine's apology, Paimon swiftly flew over and embraced her tightly. Lumine reciprocated with an equally strong hug.
After a moment, Paimon's muffled voice came from within Lumine's arms, "Traveler, could you please let go? Your Slime is suffocating me!"
Lumine quickly released her hold, blushing as she looked at Paimon.
"Huff, huff!" Paimon gasped for air, then pointed at Lumine's Slime and exclaimed, "Traveler, that thing there is way too fat! You should eat less and lose some weight—give more food to me instead!"
Hearing this, Lumine suddenly regretted apologizing just moments ago. In truth, a silent Emergency Food would have been far more suitable.
Paimon began eating the grilled meat with her fork, not forgetting to occasionally take pieces from Lumine's plate under the guise of helping her diet.
After this minor conflict, Lumine and Paimon grew to value each other even more.
"Traveler, can I play with your phone later? I want to try that 'Minecraft' game too."
"Sure!"
"Traveler, let's promise to always stay together, even after finding your brother, okay?"
"That sounds good!"
"Traveler, could you please not be so harsh on me from now on? Your angry face really scares me!"
"I'll try my best!"
"Traveler, can I hold onto your Mora for safekeeping? I'll keep it hidden well!"
"No way!" Lumine finally couldn't take it anymore; this Paimon was pushing her luck too far. Just because she didn't get angry, did Paimon think she was a fool?
Lin Feng returned to his room for some extra sleep and woke up around noon. From the kitchen, he heard sizzling sounds and a rich aroma of cooking meat wafting through the air.
He quickly got out of bed and headed towards the kitchen. It turned out Eula had already woken up and was preparing food there.
Her graceful posture while cooking made it seem less like meal preparation and more like an enchanting dance, captivating to watch.
Eula seemed aware of being observed but, upon noticing it was Lin Feng, casually turned away as if nothing bothered her. However, a slight blush crept across her cheeks, possibly due to the heat from cooking or something else entirely.
Her cheeks appeared slightly flushed; it was unclear if it was due to the heat from cooking.
Soon, the dishes were served onto the table. Sitting close together, Lin Feng noticed Eula's dark circles under her eyes and gently said:
"Eula, you need to control your gaming time in the future; otherwise, it'll take a toll on your health!"
Eula didn't respond verbally but nodded subtly. She rarely received such genuine concern.
After finishing their meal, Lin Feng took out his phone, intending to play for a bit, only to find it completely drained of battery.
Feeling somewhat awkward, he turned to Eula and asked, "Could you use your Vision to charge my phone?"
Eula extended her delicate hand, looking directly at Lin Feng, "Give it here!"
As Lin Feng placed his phone in Eula's hand, he inadvertently brushed against her fingers, noticing how incredibly soft and smooth they felt.
Eula's expression instantly cooled, giving Lin Feng a brief glance before pressing his phone against her Vision located near her chest.
Lin Feng couldn't help but swallow hard as he admired Eula's impressive figure, finding it utterly captivating. He almost wished his own hand could replace the phone, resting upon Eula's Vision!
