A guilty conscious

Andrew was now the nervous wreck of the pair as they stepped into the elevator to go to Maxwell's parents apartment.

They had been picked up by a driver, which wasn't the strange part. Andrew had been a driver for Maxwell for six months, give or take. That was fine. What he hadn't expected was that they were going to drive into a part of town that Andrew had only heard that people lived in.

It was so rich, Andrew had heard rumours you couldn't even buy in the neighbourhood. You were grandfathered in. So when the car stopped at a huge high-rise in the area, Andrew's head began to spin.

Maxwell had seemed upset, and Andrew was too worried now to ask why. Maxwell's jerky movements gave his temperament away, but Andrew was trying to regulate his breathing.
