Chapter 24

I thought that was the beginning of my happiness with him, but I was wrong—it turned out to be the end. Alzid didn't come to school, so I went to his house, but Brianna wasn't at school either. When I arrived at Alzid's house, no one was there.

I went back home and tried calling him, but I couldn't reach him. The next day was the same—he wasn't in the classroom. I went back to his house, but again, no one was there. This time, I went home in tears.

How could he do this to me? Why? What did I do wrong? Was he just playing with me? It hurts so much. Why did he have to do this to me? What did I do to deserve this kind of pain? Even Brianna was nowhere to be seen.
