L'autodestruction infernale était l'aptitude la plus répugnante que possédaient les Démons Infernaux. C'est pourquoi les aventuriers détestaient avoir affaire aux Démons Infernaux plus qu'à tout autre démon. Il était courant de déployer tant d'efforts pour vaincre un Démon Infernal de haut niveau, seulement pour mourir alors que le Démon Infernal riait de façon maniaque et se faisait exploser.
