Anger issues about labyrinth and becoming a gladiator

I spend some time getting things ready, then head off to the dungeon, I'll need a lot of valis for my next adventure. The next one will actually be an expedition, going past floor 27 will be easy, but I'll need a lot of preserved foods, water won't be a problem now that I can just make it from mana.

I focus on crystals with high valis exchange rates, I collect enough for 1 million every day, I spend a week doing this. After I was done with that I have my weapons repaired, with Mother's Gift I have Hephaestus see if there's anything wrong with it, if my maintenance on it is fine.

After everything was done, I continued collecting valis every day, I spent 4 more weeks doing this. I collected around 34 million valis, I purchased about 15 million in preserved food and 3 million in potions, I give the leftover 16 million to the familia.

Getting everything ready, I say my see you laters, and go back into the dungeon. This time I made sure to prepare big extra bags, just for food. I have 2 of them, I'll need to come back and get the other one after I get to the 27th floor.

Descending down the dungeon, I get to the 18th floor, climbing the big tree, I place the extra bag in a somewhat hidden spot. Going back up, I grab the other bag and descend again, this time I head for the 27th floor. As I'm going down, I make sure to collect the crystals from my kills.

When I get to the Xenos place, I drop off my extra bag and the crystals, after talking with Fear for a bit, I head back up for the other bag. After getting it, I bring it back down to the 27th floor, I made sure to get some souvenirs for the Xenos, and some stuff to pass the time.

Now that everything's set, I begin hunting Bugbears, Battle Boars, Lizardmen, Firebirds, Mad Beetles, Mammoth Fools, Dark Fungus, Gun Libellulas, Sword Stags, Deadly Hornets, Hobgoblins, Trolls, and Poison Vermis. After about 4 months I was finally done mapping out the 19th to 24th floors, and killing 10,000 of each monster.

I'm not saying I won't get lost, but I'll have a better time getting around in that hell hole. I managed to collect a lot of crystals for my Xenos friends, I think... around 130,000+ so I don't think they'll run out while I'm gone. After getting my backpack ready, I ask Fear a question.

"Hey Fear, I'm going to have to deal with the Amphisbaena again, want to see it disappear." "Sure! Sounds like fun!" "Okay! Let's go!" We leave and head to where it's at, wanting to test something I have Fear touching me when we get there, apon arriving, it doesn't find us.

It would seem, as long as the other person is in contact with me, Stealth will effect them too. Aiming my bow at Amphisbaena, I nock an arrow, drawing it back I start compressing mana into it, after I compress 20,000 mana, the arrow starts becoming unstable. Releasing the arrow, it hits the body between the necks, the explosion happens the moment the arrow hit.

Normally with a physical arrow, compressing mana into, it will have a delayed explosion, but this time, it exploded on impact. The resulting explosion rocked the 27th floor, the Xenos would tell me that later as right now, I've made a crater in an area that was once a pond.

Drawing another arrow back, the area around us starts cracking, a juggernaut comes out of the ground. I fill the arrow with compressed mana again, this time only 10,000 mana, once it was fully out of the ground, I release the arrow. The arrow sticks into it's head and explodes, slowly the juggernaut disintegrates, leaving behind a dumbstruck pair.

Yes I'm dumb for using so much mana without thinking, Fear is either scared or awestruck. I'm going with scared, "Sorry Fear, I shouldn't have done something so stupid." "That was AWESOME! How'd you do that, what was that thing after!" "Uuuuh... Magic spell, and a juggernaut..."

I had a hard time calming down Fear after that, she was all abuzz from my stupidity. Finally calming her down enough to go back home, I meditate to recover my mana, once it was full I started going for real. Going into the 28th floor, it seemed to be a safe point, that's fine, it'll help.

Entering to the 29th floor... I was so pissed that I set fire to the forest entrance, the mist floors seem cute in comparison. Putting out the fire I start making my way through, not on the ground mind you, in the air, I'm walking passed this shit. There were new monsters, Bloodsaurus, Violas, Venenthes, Viscum, Power Bulls, and Grand Treant.

While I was walking through, I found a fruit, wanting to more about it I walked back to the 28th floor. They told me that there are edible fruit on those floors, I was upset... I had prepared a years worth of preserved foods, and there's food in the dungeon...

Wanting to vent my anger, I ran through the floors killing every monster I saw, when I calmed down I didn't know where I was. There were no monsters, I started searching around, as I was, I started getting attacked, by a porcupine looking thing, it seems, during my blunder, I hadn't activated Stealth.

It shot it's quills at me, I Blinked out of the way, but 1 of the quills hit my right arm. Quickly killing it, I fall to my knees, I seems I've been poisoned, activating Stealth, I Blink away. I'm back where I started, a room with no monsters, taking the quill out, I start watching my health, once it was half gone I used an antidote.

If there's a poison this lethal, I'd be stupid not to use it, I want poison resistance. After healing up, I meditate for my mana back, once full I used the quill on myself, watching my health, I would heal when it was at 75%. After 2 hours of self torture, either my poison resistance wouldn't go any higher, or the quill doesn't have any more poison.

Getting fully healed and back to full mana, I set out, while walking around I find a bunch of monsters I've never seen. One in particular, had an animal skull head with a black cloak, after killing a few, it dropped the cloak, it would seem that it's drop item is it's clothes.

Whenever it dropped, I would shove it in my backpack, while I was going around, I found a large colosseum. I walk around it for a bit, there were no monsters around, going into the center, still no monsters, I deactivate Stealth, that's when monsters started showing up.

I've been killing an unknown number of monsters in the colosseum, after the 1st month, I was able to deal with hoards of monsters, coming from all directions. Wanting to improve my Swordsmanship, I started using my short sword with my bow still out.

At first it was hard because I had to manage myself better, after the 2nd month, I could fight with both, and without making mistakes. While fighting, I started circulating my mana, after the 3rd month, I had gained 2 recovery skills. Whenever I leveled up, I would put 2 points in Dexterity and Magic, and 1 point in Vitality.

During the 4th month my Swordsmanship stagnated, wanting it to get better, I started using only my short sword. During the 5th month I was running out of food, and my short sword was going to break. During those 5 months, I had found the entrance to the 36th floor, heading back up, I start eating fruit the whole way back to the 27th floor.

Getting to the Xenos, I strip my clothes off and grab 1 of the black cloaks I got, rapping it around myself, I lay down on my blanket and sleep. Waking up, Fear asks me a question "Are you okay Sara?" "Physically I'm fine, but I haven't been able to sleep well." "The colosseum didn't give me time to rest properly."

"You were at the colosseum!" "That's dangerous you know!" "Yes, yes it is, I was lost for a while, but after I found my way around, I had found a safe place with no monsters." "Really Sara, you could have died." "I know, and I'm sorry... I wasn't thinking."

"How long have I been asleep?" "6 days Sara." "Ohh... that's a while." "That's an understatement Sara!" "Listen, I have to go to the surface for a bit, I'll be back in like, 2 days, when I get back, can we hang out?" "Yes, but you really should pace yourself, you know that right?" "Right... I'm sorry for worrying you Fear."

I'm heading back to surface, after 9 months, and I'm returning immediately after, I think mother's going to kill me...
