Su Chaoxi heard the strange old man's words and did not show much surprise on her face; instead, a hint of disappointment lowered her eyes.

Seeing Su Chaoxi's reaction, the old man knew that Su Chaoxi had probably wanted to bring her in for a look in a last-ditch effort, like trying to revive a dead horse as though it were alive.

Observing Su Chaoxi's expression, the odd old man paused but still said, "Actually, the problem is mostly psychological. With some additional guidance in that area, there could be some improvement. For such a young child, psychological issues are usually caused by parents or peers. There's a saying that goes, 'The ailment of the heart requires the medicine of the heart.'

Su Chaoxi of course knew her daughter's situation and nodded in response to the old man's advice, "Thank you, Dr. Meng."

The peculiar old man humphed lightly, "I'm not any sort of doctor. If you have to call me something, just call me 'Mister.' I'm just someone who dispenses herbs."
