Ch 12: Training

After 3 days,

Mike and Eevee were doing there exercise of running around with training band as Eevee get better with it.

She also done more physical training with tackle and learn the move Double kick,with mud slap and protect.

With my talent blessing it is also get up his rank to peak of common and can evolve any time and can go to uncommon ranks but the friendship requirement is not full to be evolving into Sylveon so we have to prospond that.

"Ok, you have upgrade your physical stats to max in the common rank so we have to start your move training.

The more you use your move the faster it is when you become much more proficient with it.

So for the coming gym let's get you move Mud slap, protect, Swift, Double kick and quick attach to get more powerful.

Ok start with quick attach if you master it you can continue use it for dodging after that practice with Mud slap and Double kick as this will be your move against the rock gym then practice protect for defense when you can't dodge attack fast enough and lastly use Swift for long range shooting."

Mike said the plan for Eevee to follow and train accordingly to get a chanceto get past the rock gym as he doesn't have any other Pokemon and the time in the jungle to see other type except the bug or flying Pokemon.

After the training, it is time to eat. Eevee look at the food as it is different from other times and asked Mike " eevv...eevvvee!!?"

"This is the special food that I made for you and you currently can't have more of this as it will be very difficult to digest it.

I give you this because of the hard training that you did for the couple of days and you can eat this to fully digest the food after some more training as not to have excessive amount of energy and can't move because of this." Mike reply to Eevee of her diet.

When she tested it and she was shock to find out how flavor full and delicious it was and it could feel it's body getting energetic and felling revitalized.

When they were busy eating there are some wild Pokemon come to the area to see after they smells the food aroma around.

Mike seeing so many Pokemon give some of the non-special food he has to the wild Pokemon and ask them to fight with his Pokémon after the meals and also heal them if they get injured as he has the natural aura that come from the Viridian power the wild Pokemon readily accept it.

So after that he told Eevee to get ready as this is her first battle with Pokemon. The first Pokémon is a rattata.

"Ok, buddy this is your first battle, just follow my instruction we will be fine,"Mike encourage her so she can feel less panicked.

" Eevve..!!" Eevee shout and get in the position for fight.

"Ok, Eevee use quick attack."

" Evve.!"

She starts with glowing and dash to the ratata and hit it. It did little damage and it also start with quick attack.

" Dodge, the attack and get some distance and then start using Swift ".

She was able to dodge it because of the training and get some distance and start throwing stars shape attack to the ratata as Swift doesn't miss so the attack landed and the rattata got hit with it and after the smoke clear up it has swirling eyes.

" Eeve...!!" After the match Eevee run up to me happily after her first victory.

Mike calming it down come to the rattata and help it heal up and offer some food to eat and get it some extra for home.

After that fight with the rattata it is now time to start moving again as we are going to the cleaning where I sense there is a river runs through.

Mike don't find many things on the road to river but some more rattata and Caterpie and some Spearow flying up our head.

When Mike is going suddenly he Sense something in the side of the bushes as there is a small, quadrupedal, mammalian Pokémon. It is pinkish purple with darker patches. It has large, spiny ears with teal insides, oversized front teeth, and red eyes a Nidoran male.

After seeing it Mike become interested as finding one in the forest is harder as well as it seems to be alone as Nidoran will be with it's hard most of the time as wild Nido family is very protective of there kids.

So after finding it Mike said "Eevee use quick attack on that Pokémon over there."

Eevee heard him and aiming to attack the unsuspecting Pokemon get hit so after that it start attack with Horn attack .

" Eevee dodge and use Mud slap."

Eevee use her paws to his the ground and send brown energy to Nidoran and it get hit and it's accuracy get lower and it miss the Horn attack.

It then use poison string and sent purple string with his horn.

"Eevee use Mud slap"

Eevee again hit the string and both cancel each other.

" Eevee quick attack "

Eevee use the move very fast and Nidoran don't have the chance to dodge it get hit and got thrown out as it hit a tree and fainting. Eevee also get poison because of Nidoran has the ability Poison point. So Mike has to quickly use a potion to help Eevee and also heal it.

Mike then quickly send out a PokeBall to catch it and the PokeBall ring 3 time and with ding.. it was cought.

After that Mike release Nidoran from the PokeBall and heal him up with his power after get heal Nidoran Start to look around to see Eevee and it gets scared a bit.

Mike seeing this release his aura to calm it down and being to explain,"Don't be afraid Nidoran I am Mike Wood and this is Eevee. Here is some food you can eat."

With this Nidoran start to clam down and after sniffing it a bit it start to take a bait and have a star in his eyes.

"I see you that you are all by yourself. So I catch you and want to have you on my team,

And become your trainer and I also help you get stronger so you can't get defeat like that so want do you think want to come along.

Also you can get this kind of good food to eat", seeing this Mike start to explain and also entangled it with food as it seems to be foodie.

"Nido." After some time to think about it except the offer of come along with us and Mike also give it some more food as it seems to want as it is starting at him a bit.

So with his new Pokémon Mike also start going towards the river to camp and also to try fish some water Pokemon to fight and catch if it is good enough.

Eevee is now more proficient with her move as fighting is the best way to improve as she now use its move more faster than before.

It is now afternoon as sun is about to set Mike and his Pokemon finally get to the river side.

Now after setting up camp Mike start with Nidoran and told him to show his moves to get a understanding of it.

Nidoran now Leer, tackle, Horn attack ,poison string and horn drill.

It seems it recently get to the common rank as he seems pretty new when he using the move earlier and does not have much control over the move as he is very inexperienced.

So Mike ask how he got here in the forest. It became sad and told that it got separate from his father a Nidoking when someone comes to attack it's hard. It's father and mother with some of its older tribe member fight with the Pokemon that come to attack.

His father told it to run toward the forest with other member but it got lost and found himself here.

Mike after hearing this thought about what it could be and come to a conclusion that it can be Pokémon poacher or some evil organizations grunt who came to do something.

Even though Mike don't want to get involved in this kind of matter but when he sees that Nidoran is sad and decided to help as this reminded him about that incident where he found his 2 Pokemon that currently with him.

"Hmm, Nidoran don't be sad and tell me where is your tribe and which direction did you come from before getting separate, Mike decided to help as he can't stand and do nothing if he knows he can help.

" Nido..!!" " Nido...!!" Nidoran become happy hearing this but then became depressed as he said that we are no match for the people that attack his tribe as even his father seem no match for them and he said that he doesn't see anyone more powerful than his father.

" Ha.. ha.. didn't worry I am more powerful than you think. It seems I have to introduce you to my older Pokemon."

Mike seeing that Nidoran is worried about him he decided to show them there senior so to give them some motivation as this is also the first time for even Eevee to see his other Pokémon.

"Come out you 2 and introduce yourself to them," Mike took out 2 PokeBall and with a flash 2 Pokemon come out of there.
