The Real Witch

Elias felt like being harshly slapped with a bucket of ice water, his mouth wide open in shock. No, his mother was mean but she wouldn't go to the lengths of tarnishing someone's life. Or would she?

"Is…" Elias looked at Evelyn, his voice coming out in a small murmur, "Is it true?" No matter what the reports say she was still his annoying but precious sister, and he wouldn't tolerate anyone hurting her, even if it's his mother.

Evelyn sighed out loud, silently glaring at Annabelle who was now standing beside her. Slowly she nodded, not having the noble heart to cover up for Sophia's sins in front of her son.

"She will pay for it!" Elias declared, his hands clenched tightly into fists. Heaving a hot breath, he turned around to walk back to the ward, all set to open her hideous crimes in front of William and make her beg forgiveness on her knees. But Evelyn grabbed him and stopped him.
