"Sleep, to keep you off my mind! I'm missing you~" Stella sang to herself, hopping her steps backward, her eyes shut. Her face lit up with joy, and she danced around the room, indulging in silly, exaggerated dance moves.
She shimmied and shook, her laughter bubbling up as she occasionally paused to strike a fierce pose, jaws snapping playfully at the air, before eventually breaking into another fit of giggles and resuming her dance.
The sunset, which could be seen from the opened window, streamed through, casting a warm glow over her as if taking glory in her smile. But what about him? The imagination of him possibly being there or maybe seeing her like this, as this was a way she'd never acted before—Well, she'd never been that happy or free before.
Her father would curse her if he ever saw her being that happy, after all, she didn't deserve to be happy, not something worthless like her.
