They entered the tavern, which was much quieter in the morning than it had been the previous night.

A few patrons were scattered around, most of them nursing cups of tea or breakfast plates. They found a table near the window, where the sunlight streamed in, and ordered some food.

As they waited for their meals, Seraphina couldn't help but glance out the window, lost in thought. "What if they don't find the thief? What if we never get our things back?"

Raven reached across the table and took her hand. "Hey, don't worry about that. Things can be replaced. Besides, I'm not letting a few stolen coins ruin this trip."

Seraphina squeezed his hand, feeling a bit more reassured. "You're right. I guess I'm just frustrated."
