Eveline scoffs and nods in agreement.

"What a liar," she whispered under her breath, stealing Gabriel's smile as he continued to consume the meal.

"So, Gabriel, what are your thoughts on having an internship at your father's company? I heard Stefan has already started it, but you still seem to take your time," he inquired, beginning a conversation.

Jonathan realized why Marcus compelled his son to do an internship, something Gabriel didn't require. Still, he wanted to know Gabriel's thoughts about taking over their family firm.

"I would like to focus on my studies and enjoy my final year of college, and as for taking over the company business, I will do so when the time comes," Gabriel stated, keeping his thoughts clear before Jonathan.

Jonathan nodded, fully agreeing with Gabriel's point of view on focusing on his academics before moving on in life.
