Ch - 39 Solution?

After General Eiling left, Swayam contacted the others to inform them about the situation.

When Caitlin and Cisco returned to S.T.A.R. Labs with Ms. Sans Souci, they conducted further tests on her. This took the whole evening, mostly due to the instability of her ability, but the results were not promising.

Barry, who had been out taking care of something, returned to find everyone looking dejected and gloomy. He asked, "Hey guys, what's wrong?" Then, looking at Ms. Sans Souci, he questioned, "Did Eiling find out you're here?"

Ms. Sans Souci, the most dejected among them, answered, "No. It's just that Caitlin was about to give me some bad news."

Just as Ms. Sans Souci said, Caitlin delivered the bad news: "The shrapnel in your body has merged with you on a cellular level."

Harrison Wells added, "The technology required to unsplice your DNA hasn't been invented yet."

Losing all hope of being able to touch anything or anyone without causing an explosion, Ms. Sans Souci began to cry. Seeing her distress, Barry tried to comfort her, "Bette..."

But before he could continue, Ms. Sans Souci, overwhelmed with sadness, interrupted, "It's okay. Roger that. I just need a minute. Don't worry. I'm pretty sure I can cry without blowing stuff up." She left the room in tears.

After she left, Cisco looked at Harrison Wells and asked, "What now?"

Before Harrison Wells could reply, Barry, who felt responsible for persuading her to come to S.T.A.R. Labs and reassuring her that they would find a solution, instantly said, "She joins us. Becomes a part of the team."

Everyone knew how dangerous it would be for Ms. Sans Souci to stay with them, but no one wanted to say it directly to Barry. Seeing everyone remain silent, Caitlin spoke up as the voice of reason: "Barry, you have an amazing ability to help people. On the other hand, Ms. Sans Souci makes things explode."

Barry, still unwilling to abandon his responsibility, tried to reason with them: "She's the first metahuman not hell-bent on destroying the city."

Harrison Wells directly countered, "It's too dangerous."

Barry, thinking they were considering imprisoning her in the metahuman prison, became defensive: "She's not going in the pipeline."

Harrison Wells clarified, "I'm not suggesting she go in. But her staying here would put all of us at risk."

"From whom, Eiling?" Barry asked.

"Eiling is a very dangerous man, Barry. We do not want him as an enemy," Harrison Wells explained.

Barry, still trying to change their minds, said, "After the lightning bolt, what if Caitlin and Cisco hadn't found me? It could've been me. Hunted, on the run, cut off from everyone I know and care about. You guys saved me."

Caitlin, sharing Barry's frustration, said, "And I want to save her just as badly as you do, Barry. We all do."

Swayam, who had been listening to the entire conversation, finally spoke up. Seeing how much it affected everyone not being able to help Ms. Sans Souci, he said, "I think I can help her, but I'm not a hundred percent sure."

Everyone looked at him with questioning eyes, except Barry. Feeling relieved and hopeful, Barry asked, "Can you really do that, Sam?"

Barry subconsciously approached Swayam and, placing his hand on Swayam's shoulder, shook him. Swayam, noticing Barry's use of superspeed, didn't react to keep his cover.

Seeing Barry's excitement, Swayam replied, "Indeed, I think I can help her, but to do that I would have to touch her skin, and I'm not sure how her metahuman ability would react to that."

Caitlin, concerned for Swayam's safety, looked anxious, but Swayam reassured her, "Don't worry, Cait. I believe nothing will happen to me."

Barry, reaffirming that Swayam could help Ms. Sans Souci, left to inform her.

Initially, Ms. Sans Souci thought Barry was just trying to cheer her up, but when he remained firm, she began to hope that Swayam could indeed help her.

When Ms. Sans Souci and Barry returned to S.T.A.R. Labs, she asked Swayam if it was true. Just as he had told the others, he explained to her.

As they were about to proceed, Harrison Wells, who had been silent, spoke up: "Wait, Sam. It would be dangerous to do what you're about to do here. I think you should do it in the morning, away from here in an open place."

Ms. Sans Souci, although excited to find a solution, agreed that it might be dangerous to do it inside S.T.A.R. Labs. They decided to try it somewhere else in the morning.
