"Penny, I'm so glad you asked me to come help you today," Lily said as she walked out of the residence with Penny. "Ginnie's been such a bummer and hates it when I try to dress her up."

Penny smiled, walking Lily to her car. "I should be the one thanking you. Be careful on your way."

"Mhm." Lily grinned from ear to ear. "Anyway, I'm also glad you're not letting it affect you."

"Huh?"

"Nina," Lily clarified. "I heard about what happened. I heard she called off the engagement, and then Finn got into an accident shortly after. Knowing you, I was a little worried you'd stop everything just to be with her."

"If I do that, it's like punishing Nina."

Lily nodded. "That's why I'm glad you're not letting it get to you."
