~~~Ischyros, Xandar City~~~
~~~Half an hour after the debacle between the witches and the Japanese~~~

"Love, what do you think? I've noticed you very distracted after hearing about the Empire," Azrael commented, hugging Isabella from behind as they watched from the castle balcony over the fjord.

Isabella became more attached to the show of affection, taking Azrael's arms, which she held over her, and pulling them closer to her chest. " It's just that I've been thinking about my parents. If we trust the news, then Xandar is somewhere completely alien to the one we know. I'm terrified at the thought of never seeing them again."

That had been tormenting Isabella since she knew about Xandar's situation. It was something completely impossible to happen, and yet it happened. Whatever happened took care of transporting all the forces in Westeros, the free cities, or Yi Ti, whether the merchant ships, the warships that controlled the sea routes, or even the trade caravans of Xandar.

But not those who did not make part of Xandar, including his parents, for even Varys, who had been in Westeros for several years, had appeared on the streets of the Rose Zone. It was as if the force transporting all of Xandar also distinguished between what belonged to him and what did not.

"I can't speak confidently about reuniting with your parents, but we must be strong. The future of Xandar depends on it," Azrael said, kissing his cheek.

"I don't know what the future holds, but we must be prepared for everything for that reason. I have already mobilized the army to all the borders. The witches and the evocators are in charge of monitoring everything, the Enderman is in rest awaiting orders, and you know that if that is not enough, I will send the Warden and the Wither," Azrael assured, vowing to send in Xandar's heavyweights if Xandar found itself under attack.

"You're right," Isabella commented, this time more confident, turning around and standing before Azrael, cupping his face in her hands and giving him a soft kiss.

"Your Majesty, Your Grace," they were both interrupted, causing them to break apart and look at the one who interrupted them, seeing Gallio standing to the side with a serious face, "speak, Gallio, or I will throw you off the balcony for interrupting," Isabella told him in a severe tone. However, the smile on her face betrayed her mood.

"Your Grace, your husband is needed in the High Council chamber for an emergency meeting. Alarming news has come from Tharlan," Gallio replied, causing Azrael and Isabella to become serious.

"Go, I have a business to discuss with the scholars," Isabella commented, kissing Azrael again, urging him to do his homework.

"What do the reports say, Gallio?" once taking the path to the Cabinet, Azrael questioned Gallio, wanting to know what the urgent thing was about, "Multiple ships have arrived off the shores of Tharlan. They are eight vessels larger than our ships, made entirely of steel like ours. So far, the reports say no contact has been made yet, but it may happen."

Azrael looked at the reports, which detailed the designs of the ships and their banners. This spurred him several times as he noticed the similarities between the flag of Japan from his old world and those described by the ships. "Lord Henry has made the relevant emergency preparations?"

"Yes, Your Majesty, Lord Henry has the city prepared in case of attacks. I understand Queen Valka is in charge of the situation in the city," Gallio let him know, just in time for Essino to come rushing in to meet him.

"Azrael, a battle is raging in the northern sea, off the shores of Tharlan. The foreign ships are combatted with forces positioned in the city." Those simple words froze the atmosphere, angering both Azrael and Gallio.

"ROOOAR!" In the distance, Endoxes' angry roar could be heard, sensing Azrael's anger through the link between the two.

"Gallio, mobilize the Enderman. Send a force of thirty to Tharlan. I'll go ahead to stop the attack," Azrael specified, as loud whip-like sounds began to be heard, indicating the approach of Endoxes.

After leaving the last indications, Azrael took flight and exited through one of the windows, where the colossal figure of Endoxes was already standing. "At last, we can have fun like in the old days," Endoxes' voice soon became present, with Azrael climbing on the back of this one.

"Yes, friend, there are things to destroy," Azrael replied. I hope my assumptions aren't accurate,' Azrael thought, then tasked Endoxes with taking flight as he prepared to use one of his new abilities to get them there faster.

On the shores of Tharlan, a battle of never-before-seen proportions was taking place after the attack of one of the Japanese soldiers on Marggy; Vice Admiral Hiroake could not prevent the combat from taking place, especially after the soldier who fired was killed.

The shots soon began to be heard when the machine gun operators opened fire to end the imminent danger, only to prove ineffective when the speed of the witches, a product of the potions they ingested, made them obtain a speed superior to the human reaction, managing to evade the shots and gradually exterminate the shooters.

The occasional bullet would hit them, but the netherite steel armor stopped all danger. Bullets bounced off and failed to leave a single scratch in the black paint.

The Japanese soldiers could not fight on equal terms, especially when the witches stood before other soldiers, forcing them to hold their fire for fear of injuring the allied soldiers.

"Kill those monsters!"

"Ahh!"

Several screams could be heard on the deck of the ship, filling the atmosphere with a strong smell of gunpowder and blood.

"BOOOM!"

"BOOOM!"

"BOOOM!"

Multiple sounds rang out, coming from two of the turrets of another ship, which fired toward one of the Xandarian ships, precisely the one from which the witches had initially jumped. The cannons fired with thunderous force, shattering the air and launching six projectiles at the Xandarian ship, hitting it with enormous power.

"BOOOM!" The impact was so significant that it caused the Xandarian ship to rock back and forth while a plume of dust and smoke rose into the sky, obscuring the view of the attacked ship.

However, the Japanese soldiers were immensely surprised when they could see the ship once the smoke cleared. The ship was in total condition as if it had not taken four whole shells, with only the sheen of the metal hull wall shining brighter than before.

The ships, armed with unbreaking enchantments, blast protection, and shell protection, protected it in its entirety without limiting its performance and only causing it to wobble as it received the recoil from the projectile strike.

Immediately after the ship was attacked, the unsullied controlling scorpions aimed at the attacking ship, preparing to open fire, along with two other unsullied scorpions with their respective scorpions.

"FIUUU!"

"FIUUU!"

"FIUUU!"

Three scorpion shots were fired in seconds, with the enchanted bolts quickly reaching the Japanese ship. Despite its crewmen constantly firing with heavy machine guns or surface-to-air turrets, the ship could not stop any bolts' advance. The boat was not affected by contact with high-caliber bullets, which bounced off with enormous force as if being close to the scorpion bolt. An unknown force repelled them.

"KABUM!"

"BOOOM!"

Two loud explosions occurred, with the destroyer exploding upon contact with the enchanted scorpion bolts, which, under the effects of various enchantments, such as recoil, power, piercing, cleaving, cutting edge, and thrust, managed to penetrate the hard metal of the ship's hull, piercing through the boat and hitting another destroyer behind it, sinking two destroyers at the same time.

Smoke and metal parts from the ships came ashore, with shrapnel and human parts flying everywhere, pausing the fighting for a few seconds.

Giving the Japanese time to understand firsthand the power of the Xandarian incantations.
