Turning a blind eye

An awkward silence fell over the group, and Sir Lamorak cleared his throat. 

"The Queen's chambers?" He suggested in the face of Sir Kay's confession, and everyone agreed. Sir Kay was the most enthusiastic of the group to get out of here. Artie couldn't blame him. 

The man just confessed that he would care about her whether she was a man or a woman. She was all for it, but it was probably quite shocking for the others. And awkward for Artie, since she was still in his arms. 

No one greeted anyone that they passed, on a mission to get to the Queen's chambers for entertainment. The guards stationed outside, who had obviously been told in advance that something was going to happen today, bowed when they noticed the crowd approaching. 

"Lady Morgan. Is Lady Guinevere behind you?" The guard asked, and at first Artie was surprised that a guard was so bold. That was, until Lady Morgan smiled softly.
