"Lady Sara!"
Seeing Sara, everyone in the factory knelt down in reverence.
"I already know everything you've endured."
"It's all Anrokuzan's doing."
"Now, you are free."
Sara addressed the group in front of her.
"Thank you, Lady Sara!"
"Long live Lady Sara!"
Upon hearing Sara's words, all the people of the Loran Kingdom who were kneeling on the ground cried tears of relief.
Since being captured in this factory, they had been forced to work non-stop every day.
If they slowed down even a little, they would be harshly beaten.
Those in poor health had perished long ago.
They had thought they would live in this dark place until the end of their days.
But unexpectedly, they were now saved.
"Your families are waiting for you outside."
"Go quickly."
Seeing her people in this state, Sara felt a pang of sadness.
It was all her fault.
If only she had detected Anrokuzan's treachery earlier, the people of the Loran Kingdom wouldn't have suffered so.
After receiving Sara's command, the people of Loran hurriedly ran out, eager to reunite with their loved ones.
Once everyone had left, Sara turned to look at Takuya.
"The power of the Dragon Vein is immense and unending."
"To defeat Anrokuzan, we must sever his connection with the Dragon Vein."
"Follow me; I have sensed the source of the Dragon Vein."
After Sara finished speaking, she turned and began to lead the way.
Just then, Anrokuzan appeared before them.
"Lady Sara, I've finally found you."
Gazing at Sara, Anrokuzan's face twisted into a malicious grin.
As long as he could kill Sara, the Dragon Vein would be his alone.
"Anrokuzan, I didn't expect you to betray us like this."
"You have betrayed my mother's trust."
Sara spoke with fury.
"Trust?"
"Ha!"
"You don't know the whole story. Your mother had been wary of me for a long time."
"She just wanted to use me to ensure a better life for the people of Loran."
Anrokuzan sneered.
"What?"
"You mean my mother knew all along?"
Sara said in surprise.
"Sara, your mother was much smarter than you."
"If it weren't for her cunning, I wouldn't have needed to go to such lengths to dispose of her."
Anrokuzan's voice turned cold.
"What do you mean?"
"Are you saying my mother's death was your doing?"
Sara asked in shock and disbelief.
"That's right."
"Once everything in Loran was running smoothly, your mother tried to sever my connection to the Dragon Vein."
"So, I had to eliminate her."
Anrokuzan sneered.
"You monster!"
"No matter what your ambitions are, I will stop you."
Upon learning the truth, Sara was consumed with rage.
To think that her mother's sudden death had been at An Lushan's hands!
"It's too late for that."
"As long as I prevent you from reaching the source of the Dragon Vein, you can't sever my connection to it."
Anrokuzan laughed.
"..."
"Can you hold him off for a while?"
Sara asked Takuya.
"Leave it to me."
Takuya replied calmly.
Defeating Anrokuzan might be challenging, but holding him off was a different matter.
"Then I leave it to you."
"I will repay you for this."
Sara glanced at Takuya gratefully, then dashed towards the Dragon Vein's source.
"You're courting death."
Anrokuzan snorted and moved to strike Sara.
However, Takuya stepped in front of him.
With a loud impact, Anrokuzan was violently thrown back, his body fracturing.
"Hahahaha... It's useless. With the power of the Dragon Vein, I am invincible."
Anrokuzan's arrogant laughter echoed as his shattered body rapidly mended itself.
He had turned himself into a puppet. As long as he could tap into the Dragon Vein's power, he was immortal.
"Puppet Technique: Super Dragon Vein Fireball!"
A massive purple fireball erupted from Anrokuzan's mouth, hurtling towards Takuya.
With a deafening explosion, the fireball engulfed Takuya.
"Now you see the folly of opposing me, Konoha ninja?"
Anrokuzan laughed.
The previous attack had been fueled entirely by Dragon Vein energy, far more destructive than ordinary Fire Style jutsu.
If hit, survival seemed impossible.
But as the smoke cleared, Anrokuzan's laughter ceased abruptly.
Takuya stood unscathed, enveloped in a dense layer of chakra.
"Pathetic."
"Is this the extent of your power with the Dragon Vein?"
Takuya spoke calmly.
The previous attack hadn't even fazed him.
"Curse you!"
An Lushan roared in anger.
He prepared to unleash another fireball, but Takuya didn't give him the chance.
"Wood Style: Wood Golem Jutsu!"
As Takuya intoned, a colossal Wooden Golem appeared.
Even a smaller version was still towering.
The Wooden Golem engaged Anrokuzan.
Despite Anrokuzan's ability to resurrect, all Takuya needed was to keep him occupied.
"Who are you?"
Anrokuzan was shocked.
Every ninja knew the legend of Wood Style.
Why could this Konoha shinobi use it?
"Those about to die don't need to know so much."
Takuya replied, finding a spot to sit and watch.
Anrokuzan grew desperate.
If this continued, once Sara severed his connection to the Dragon Vein, he would be doomed.
But no matter his efforts, he could not overcome the Wooden Golem.
He was broken and mended repeatedly.
Time passed.
With a final punch from the Wooden Golem, Anrokuzan's body was shattered, and this time, he did not rise.
"Is it over?"
Takuya murmured.
Sure enough, soon after, Sara came running to him, her face alight with excitement.
"Takuya, I've severed Anrokuzan's connection to the Dragon Vein!"
"Where is he?"
Sara asked eagerly.
"Over there."
Takuya pointed to the puppet fragments on the ground.
Seeing this, tears of joy welled up in Sara's eyes.
"Takuya, thank you!"
Sara embraced Takuya.
Anrokuzan was dead, and her mother's death had been avenged.
The future of the Loran Kingdom was now bright.
