Let the kid go

I tried to fight, desperation fueling every move as I struggled against my captors. "Let the kid go!" I yelled, hoping my voice carried some authority. But they didn't care. Their grip on me tightened, and I felt a rough hand clamp over my mouth.

I kicked out, my foot connecting with someone's shin, eliciting a grunt of pain. "Get off me!" I screamed, thrashing wildly. One of them grabbed my hair, yanking my head back painfully. I tried to claw at his hand, but another set of hands grabbed my wrists, wrenching them behind my back.

"Hold her still!" one of them barked.

I was shoved against the wall, the rough brick scraping my cheek. I could feel the adrenaline pumping through my veins, but no matter how hard I fought, they were stronger. One of them pulled out a black bag, and before I could react, it was shoved over my head. Darkness enveloped me, and I felt my breathing quicken, the fabric clinging to my face.
