Chapter 10

Tourney at Harrenhal

Day 7 and the final day of the tourney

Aaron was dancing.

Ashara always did something to him. He was truly grateful he met her and for that Elia had his full support and could do no wrong.

As the danced their way through others as the bards kept playing he could barely hear anything. Just trapped by the eyes of the seductress he calls his wife.

Eventually they sneak out to have a session in one of the rooms of the castle. I have to say Ash is the best lay I've had. Maybe its because of the connection between us because my 'girls' have better technique.

As we lay down resting after our last round together Ash brought up a topic.

'What the prince did today… shaming Elia like that and infront of the whole realm I don't know what to make of it.' she said while staring aimlessly at the ceiling.

'We all thought Rhaegar a better man. If he wants a mistress there are too many to choose from for him. Even that little Lannister chit. He's playing a dangerous game.' I paused and looked at her before continuing.

'One I will not see you be a part of.'

She was furious at that. I knew she would be. She is tettering on the edge of devotion to Elia. They grew up together, played together in the Water gardens. She was taken as a handmaiden for her since she was little. That is why I need her out of Kings Landing before the Rebellion happens.

(P.S Remember he has not watched the show. He has a good enough understanding because of a friend was telling him about it to convince him to watch it. What he remembers he is really smart so he draws out a basic timeline from it and uses deductions to make decisions. He does not not the exact stuff. Like Jon Snow being a targ or Young Griff a blackfyre. He is also a greenseer don't forget.)

'You!!! Why? When Elia needs me the most you expect me to vanish?'

'No. I expect you to be at home safe waiting for our child. Yes dear I know your pregnant. I do not want our heir to be born in Kings Landing. Trust me I'll give Elia resources to take care of herself. I need to be with you. Protected… safe back home. Is that too much to ask?'

She stared at me for a few seconds before her shoulders started shaking. She was sobbing before she flung herself into my arms.

'Promise me. That you'll do everything in your power to keep her safe. She's more than a sister to me, she was…'

Okay okay okay okay. She's Dornish I have to remember that. Should I expect to find her in bed with Elia one day. If so would I be invited? I won't mind getting some of that princess fluids on me.

I sighed and answered that I would. We can both see that this situation if not handle correctly can spiral into something else entirely. Namely a fucking rebellion.

After we finished hugging I went outside to prepare for riding back with the northern lords. After getting my retinue in order I quickly went to pay Elia and my niece a visit.

I found Ser Arthur guarding the door barring entry yet I could hear arguments through it all the same.

'So I'm have to wait don't I?'

'T'is so good ser.'

I struck up a conversation about sword techniques while waiting for the royals to finish. Some minutes later Rhaegar came out with a scowl on his face. He briefly looked at me and Arthur before nodding his head at him and walking by me with the kingsguard following behind.

I knocked on the door and ooened slowly to see Elia pacing about the room. Her gaze was sharp. Predator like even but when she saw who it was it softened.

'Elia. I want to apologize on the actions of my cousin that caused such grief to you.'

'Never. You never should apologize for others faults,Aaron. Especially with my husband leading around a naïve fifteen name day girl.'

'I came here for something else too. I don't know how to say this but… I am a greenseer.'

Elia stood still and looked at me,

'Like the old tales of the North. Magic?'

'Yes magic' I then raised my hand and cold air started to permeate the room.

She looked at it blankly before coming closer and touching my hand. She rubbed it abit before saying,

'I know the Rhoynar had magic but to see it… feel it is different. Does that mean Rhaegar's follies are true too? What was so important that you had to tell me about your magic?'

'Elia… you die.'

'Valar Moghulis all men must die. This is not news.'

'No… you don't get it. There is a war coming. I've seen pieces of it and its aftermath. The Targs will cause a rebellion soon and lose. Most of them die. Including you, my little dragon Rhaenys and your soon to be born child Aegon. I didn't see your deaths per se but I heard about it in the aftermath and the faces people speak about it is always grim.'

Elia released my hand and sat down on her bed and started crying. Tears fell profusely from her eyes. She was tired. The only good thing that came from her marriage is her childern. She would not lose them. She would protect them even if she has to kill many more to do so. Her eyes hardened and looked at Aaron.

'Your loyalty to me… I don't deserve it but I thank you for it all the same, Ron.'

'Its alright, my queen. I own businesses in Kings Landing. I'll tell the person in charge Chataya to do your bidding. Anything you want you can get it done through her. I believe she has already placed spies in the keep. They would all be under your command. I'll keep a small ship anchored at the ports of Pentos incase you have to move quickly. Your safety and tour children's safety is your only priority Elia. Not the crown. You can always get that back later. The kids have one life.'

Elia promised she'll maneuver herself properly in the coming times. With her in control of Novacaine I can almost fully bash some skulls for the rebellion.

A few moons later Lyanna Stark went missing and so did Prince Rhaegar.
