Murong Jiang had been married to Hua Min for nearly forty years.
Not once had he been able to have a pleasant meal at the Hua family's home.
Still, the Hua family doted on their own daughter.
They believed that Hua Min's bad temperament was due to Murong Jiang not being considerate enough toward her.
"If Xiao Min had been well taken care of, how could she have such a terrible temper?"
"They say a woman becomes more and more irritable when her heart is not satisfied, a sign of feeling insecure."
When the Hua family members returned to the dinner table and saw Murong Jiang, his head bloody and bruised, not only did they not offer a word of comfort,
but they also blamed him for the fault.
Even though Murong Jiang's heart was filled with all kinds of grievances,
he couldn't show even a hint of them.
He still had to put down his chopsticks obediently and listen to everyone's lessons.
"Yes, I did wrong,"
Murong Jiang said in a low voice.
