A few days passed after our meeting with Hinata. There had been very little of note happening except the odd spout of work that came through. Mostly, I had been focussing on the creation of books and knowledge, transferring some of the knowledge stored within my mind to actual book forms. Control over Carbon and my powers over Transmutation and Enchantment with the influence of my spell made this venture moderately easier.
Thus far I had completed forty books, each one on a subject relevant to our current situation. Math, Science, Electronics Production, Engineering, Architecture, Plumbing, Carpentry, Smithing... You name it and there was most likely a book completed for it or close to being completed. The process wasn't as quick as most would assume with my powers, my pace limited only by the sheer volume of data within my mind. Most libraries within my mind that pertained to certain subjects required me to read it myself before I could transfer it to paper in a translatable form.
With these forty finished however we could now begin to teach more modern techniques and knowledge. Astronomy, Physics, Geology, Biology, Chemistry... All would need to be taught and once these were taught, the people who knew these things would get automatic grants from the Government to pay for their set-up, with the expectation that they would teach future generations after they had completed their careers. The academy or as Rimuru called it, the University, was accepted by him and Yuna, the rest of the influential people in the Government agreeing as well.
I was going to construct the campus itself, volunteering for the task myself. Builders would take months and need more resources than most industries could sustain even with double their staff and infrastructure now. Thus, I would use my magics and Ultimate Skills to create the perfect University, the Tempestus University.
"Silvi... I am going out to work. I'll see you this afternoon!"
"Okay sweetie, stay safe okay?"
"Mhm! I will."
Looking over towards the entrance of the house i noticed the door thumping against the wood, Shuna's figure walking out and pacing to the end of the walkway. Seconds later her hazy figure within the glass faded, the crying metallic screech from the front gate ringing out twice before it was closed. Turning back to the books on the coffee table in front of me I picked up my hot beverage and slowly took a sip. Smooth, milky and pleasant, the coffee slipped around within my mouth. My tastes now lathered in the superbly warm liquid I set down the cup on the wooden coaster it was originally placed upon I exhaled.
'Next I need to go make this University...'

|Do you wish to continue holding back your check-in's?|
'Go back to the normal check-ins.'

For the next little while I put the books away into my storage dimension, finished the rest of the books and then slipped them in as well. Standing up from my seated position I stretched my back, finding that my bones were a little rigid from staying still for several hours. Some cracks resounded before I clicked my fingers and had my dress change to a beautiful looking white blouse with an ankle-long skirt of the same colour. Black intertwined with the white around the buttons and cuffs as silver sparkled in the midst of these entangled colours.
I walked forwards, my footsteps echoing in the currently empty house, both of my wives away for work. Milim had left a day before to check in on her followers and 'nation', their communications with her having been rather frustrated due to her nature. Stepping from the house I looked around and saw hundreds of people walking along the street. Women, children and men all laughing, talking and enjoying the city. The war had not been long ago, but the mood was as if it never happened. Many people were thriving off of the tail end of the war. New shops provided weapons and armours for normal citizens whilst others offered newly found services for the more well-off side of the population.
Multitudes of scents filled my senses, from hot spices to the pungent deluge of fish, harvested from nearby rivers and creeks. A constant din of conversations, cries, yells, shouts, child-like enjoyable screams, sundered from the city into the nature. Birds and various other critters lavished upon the remnants of food left out for them by restaurants and other establishments. Various species intertwined with one another here, eclectic gatherings of Lamias, Demi-Humans, Ogres, Oni, Goblins, Humans and many other more exotic species spent time becoming friends or dating. Truly, it was peaceful.
The wind blew deeply but weakly through the streets, my clothes rustling in the wind. Coolness was fading from the wind slowly with time as Winter was ending and the warmer spring was soon to be upon us. Houses had windows open and as I walked I noted many kids sitting around doing very little. Schools had been opened but they were all currently filled, more schools needing to be opened in the very-near future. Smiling at the boredom on these kids' faces I imagined them all seeing the spell I was just about to cast and the resulting University. I had so many plans and now that I was free from caring about the angels, my powers could be fully used to the betterment of the people.
My 'construction' would be in the middle of Tempestus, the heart of the city, where all jobs and money was kept and the Government resided. Here, in the lifeblood of our city's centre I would create arcana that had never been used on this world, the idea never having crossed most sane people's minds... Stepping through the streets with the various colours and sounds of the city I noted the cleanliness and freshness with which the air had in the city. No smell of dung or rubbish, no fowl odours from sewers left unclean. Everything was beautifully neutral in odour.
As I got closer to the heart the sense of smell got much better, lovely smells of roses, lilacs, fresh plants and many other perfumes permeated. This space was massive with a large fountain in the middle of a enormous city square. A fountain was placed in the middle of the square itself, the statue on top of it being Rimuru and I standing back to back. He in his human form and me as my former full Dark Elf self.
Stepping up to the exterior of the fountain I looked down at the bubbling pool of water, the Aqueducts extending into the distance at the top of my vision as they slipped beneath grey clouds. So majestic was the scene that I shed a single tear from my eye. Never in my past life would this have been possible, people working together as unified as this. Too much religion, political discourse and hatred stood in the way of that and it had festered for centuries and still was on my previous life's planet.
'I shall ensure that end will not come to pass here...'
Slowly rotating my right hand I watched as shadowy-blue energy slipped from the cracks of space that emerged between my fingers. Like a gas that had been dyed and set adrift the smoky magicules billowed from my hands, then my arms, until it was all but covering my body. Twitches from my tails revealed several more lights as all of them lit up. Weightlessness soon overtook my body as my vantage point was risen, my body levitating upwards as the wind rattled my entire form copiously.
"Mummy...? Why is she flying...?"
"What do you me- Oh my god!?"
