A Sudden Change

Hey guys! Sorry for the singular chapters of late... I have been real tired and had Real life stuff going on. I wish I could earn enough from this to make it more important in relation to other things but I don't.

Please consider leaving a comment, a review and maybe even donating some power stones. They all help make this Fan Fic more popular, and therefor giving us all more people to nerd out to about weird things or how cool fantasy is. Anyway, here is another chapter and I hope you enjoy.

Taking Yuna and the higher ups of Tempest along with me I quickly went to the same forest I had just left not too long before I did the speech. Rigurd, Shuna, Milim, Yuna, Hakuro, Gobwa, Kurobe, Gabiru and Kaijin, were all speaking behind me in hushed conversations as many of them were worried in the face of one million soldiers and fifty thousand paladins. Most of their conversations were heard by me but it was just the normal speculation of odds and interest in my 'solution'.

Walking along Yuna was gazing at the environment, as if it would reveal the secret at any moment, but this was quickly halted when she stubbed her toe on the root of a tree. I chuckled a little at her fumble, leading to her poking my sides and making a pouting face. Honestly I knew very little about her but the parts she showed were rather energetic, similar to Milim in some ways but more like the energy of a younger sister.

As the poking finished, the sound of gunfire echoed into the forest. Someone was obviously on the 50cal as thunderous reverberations cascaded outwards through the dense canopy of the forest into the sky.

"Clear!" The sounds of brass casings dropping to the forest floor followed the reverberations as the person had emptied the the remainder of their ammo box. Beside them were six people who all had P210s and AK-74s. Everyone besides Shuna and Milim all backed away from the noises in shock or fear, Yuna experiencing the prior emotion to fear. Benimaru shouted out in a very masculine voice moments later.

"THAT'S IT FOR TODAY! Assemble!" All of the soldiers, all 1000 of them quickly sprinted through the forest carrying their ammo and weapons. None had noticed our presence yet, Benimaru least of all as he was currently up to his neck in issuing orders. Yuna grabbed my shoulders and shook me, her eyes wide and a panicked expression coming over her face.

"Isn't this bad!?"

"No... I know of what you refer to, but this is fine, they have this technology too."

Dropping her hands to the side she seemed to calm down in seconds. Her entire mood then shifted in rapid succession as I could almost see stars gathering within her eyes.

"Can I shoot one?" Resisting the urge to facepalm I awkwardly smiled whilst nodding once.

"Sure... Ask Benimaru."

Before I could get anymore words out she had already sprinted over to Benimaru, shouting her request at the top of her lungs. Her speed was very fast, nearly at the level of Mach 1, her feet blurring and leaving marks into the dirt and roots beneath her. Glancing at Shuna I saw her shaking her head in exasperation. What I did expect however was Milim joining Yuna, which happened almost immediately after Yuna sprinted off towards Benimaru. Sighing a little I turned back to the other members of my entourage, snapping my fingers and thus drawing their attention.

"Snap out of it. These are new weapons I have made." Looking at me in seriousness they all cooled down, sweat gracing a majority of their faces as they were concerned about a monster suddenly appearing. Walking up to Benimaru's position I saw two women basically bullying him into giving them a gun to fire. Yuna held his lapels whilst Milim had grasped his legs, both of them seemingly cooperating to force his hand.

"S-stop this!? Silviana! Help...!" Looking at me for aid his face was completely flustered as his body was tensed. He was lifted above the earth and he had no solution in mind that wouldn't be dangerous, no doubt.

"Girls, stop it... You can have some guns. I waved my hand and felt my internal MP drain slightly, a P210 and an AK-74 emerging in golden-green light along with their accompanying ammunitions. Within seconds of summoning said 'toys' Yuna dropped Benimaru whilst Milim appeared in front of me and gave me a quick kiss, both of them running off into the forest to shoot some shit. I loved Milim and it seemed that I could tolerate Yuna... Anyone who loves guns that much is okay in my books, for the most part.

"T-thank you, they would have killed me, I think?" He exasperatedly stared at the two women's backs as they sprinted into the forest like two school girls who had just discovered some new fashion trend. Digressing from that however, the members of leadership in Tempest were all gathering in front of the battalion, the soldiers all standing at attention with as much effort as they could muster. Seeing me would usually signal something important, witnessing the entire leadership of the nation before them they were practically shitting themselves in worry and stress. Shaking my head at the the strictness with which they held themselves to I stepped up to the lead officer of the battalion, the man matching my line of sight with his hand twitching in nervousness.

"Officer, could I please have your firearm?" He instantly nodded and took the gun away from the horizontal hold he had it in previously, offering it to me in a very respectful manner. Smiling I patted his shoulder and grasped the firearm. Within moments I checked the chamber of the weapon and the safety... He had nailed the safety side of handling the P210 without much training in it. Benimaru was beside me now, his gaze also on the firearm as he then looked at me, for confirmation.

"Very good. You have mastered an aspect that I had yet to teach you, or had the time to teach you. General Benimaru, please increase his rank to Training Officer." In a moment the officer was close to crying, his eyes straining in an attempt to hold them back. This wasn't taking him off the field, quite the opposite, he would always have priority in matters of training his battalion whilst also being given the responsibility to bring the rest of his battalion to the same standard.

"Th-thank you, my Queen!" He straight up knelt, his head bowing at the same time as his Kijin horns shifted colours slightly. I didn't know about the title but I felt that he was a very good candidate for replacing Benimaru's position when Benimaru took his position as Field Marshal for the entirety of Tempest's Military. With this thought in mind, and with the shock of everyone present I decided to rename him, his namer being some random member of a Demon Lord's Cotery.

"I see a lot of potential in you. You shall henceforth be renamed to: Julius." A flash of golden-green light flittered over his form as his horns retracted and reappeared in quick succession. At the same time his form became more refined, his muscles bulging but also slimming in places. By the end of the process I had consumed 1,000,000 MP points, and he, well he had transformed from a good looking man of black hair and yellow eyes to a six foot tall War-Kijin with crimson hair and silver eyes. His horns were purely black with speckles of golden light within as purple lightly sparkled amidst his silver irises. Before he was kneeling, now, he was outright 'Dogeza'ing'. Benimaru made an instant judgement of why I did that, he said nothing though. Shuna didn't care as this was what i wished to do, her interest lay with the guns and how we could use them to win.

"Silviana-sama, I-if I may interrupt?" turning to look at Rigurd I nodded in acquiescence, noting myself that I had yet to explain the situation to them.

"Go ahead."

"Ahum, certainly, how do these stick things help us?" He pointed to one as the soldier holding said firearm sneered, lightly exasperated at the comment: 'stick thing'. Keeping the internal chuckle I had at his choose of wording tightly under wraps, I calmly began my explanation.

"That isn't a stick Rigurd, it is called a gun, or more specifically... The one you are pointing at is called a P210. It is like a bow, but it can fire metallic arrows of a small size that travel very fast, faster than most can see. These bullets then can have many affects, based on how they are made or on what magics you imbue." In the distance the sounds of gunfire burst out, the creaking of a tree resounding before the sound of Yuna saying "Oh Shit!" resounded.

'Oh for fucks sakes...'

The explanation from this point was very simple, after I had checked on Milim and Yuna, who were laughing as they hung upside down from a tree branch, I returned back to Shuna and the rest. Quickly I began my display, using some of the soldiers to demonstrate the usage of these firearms. Many soldiers unloaded and reloaded their P210s, ensuring safety was off before gathering in small fire teams and proceeding to the edge of the forest. Milim and Yuna were now exiting said forest and hurriedly came up to me, their guns strapped to their backs in a hoist I had made them when I went to save them from their upside down state.

Benimaru shouted aloud the order to fire and all hell broke loose, hundreds of bullets slamming into trees and leaving behind large gash marks. Many pieces of foliage broke or snapped as the bullets carved their stems asunder. Ten seconds after it had started it stopped, Benimaru ordering them to cease the display. Rotating my head to look at the members of the government I couldn't help but let slip a small chuckle as they all looked frightened.

In my past life I had climbed through entire battlefields with firepower worse than this firing overhead and even right at me. Conventional Firearms were nothing in comparison to Rail-Machine-Guns. Yet again, my momentary happiness must be ruined.

'WHAT THE FUCK!? WHO!?'

...

Meanwhile in the forest of Jura several figures in worn out and ragged clothes moved stealthily through the forest, undeath leaking from their very presence. A smell so pungent that it was repulsive popped out of them with every step.

"The Great One must not be disappointed... Provoke the H-Hu-Humans into attacking pre-pr-prematurely..."

Groans of agreement croaked outwards from puss filled mouths as the stench of putrid flesh and disgusting corruption wilted foliage and trees around them. A belching laugh creepily clicking out of a liquid-filled throat.
