The Tale Of The Dark Kingdom

The Night Sky was ever so beautiful, glossy and glistening stars spotted across the sky Surrounding the beautiful full moon. In the home of the Raicho's a new son was born, Ankoku Raicho. The family's home wasn't anything remarkable but it was a nice cozy home made of wood and stone, the cries of the child, the mother, Suzumi, says

"honey..its a boy what shall we call him dear?" the father, Tatsumi, crying at the sight of his first born son, "his name…..will be Ankoku"

the child still crying and wailing his arms around is then picked up by Tatsumi

"rest now Suzumi I shall look after him until you recover"

(6 Years In The Future)

It's the cold harsh winter in the Rekya Kingdom, inside the village Nokagawa, little Ankoku is running in the fields owned by his father. He runs around playing in the snow as his parents watch from the window of their home

"what a sweet kid we have, I cannot wait to see our next child, suzumi." says Tatsumi, as he bends down kissing her bump in her stomach.

"Oh stop dear I have to go prepare supper for us." She then walks towards the kitchen as Tatsumi begins to stand back up smiling looking back out the window seeing Ankoku jumping in the snow as he sees a snow storm approaching them. He walks to the door and opens it taking a couple steps outside and yells out

"ANKOKU! Your mother is making supper!! Head back inside okay!?"

—After two months—

"Suzumi, PUSH! Suzumi! PUSH!" Tatsumi yells as the child and then quiet, Tatsumi looks up with a massive smile on his face and screams

"IT'S A GIRL!!!".

Suzumi looking exhausted says

"I want to...Deep Breath…name her…Saki"

Tatsumi looks over at Ankoku and says

"Hey come here and say hello to your new baby sister!"

Ankoku sprints over and looks at her playing with her baby hands and says

"Hi i'm your big brother! Ill protect you forever and ever, we can play, laugh, and work hard with our family together!"

—-----------3 years in the future—----

Tatsumi is standing on top of a big hill with two wooden swords as Ankoku walks towards his father his father turns suddenly and swings his sword making a sound like a loud thunder storm *CRACK SWOOSH* and stops right before hitting his head, he then says

"My son, it is time for you to learn how to wield a sword in defense of your family and yourself."

Ankoku, originally terrified from the sudden attack his face brightens as he always loved watching knights train down by the village's Guard's Quarters, he then says

"Yes father I shall always use my skills to protect my family and myself never to do harm!"

Tatsumi then tosses the wooden sword towards his son as soon as Ankoku grips the handle his father rushes him hitting the hilt of the sword and swiping it away from his hands tossing it far to the left, Ankoku's eyes hardly even saw it happen it appears as it is going in slow motion as his father is staring at him then all of a sudden *SHOOM* Ankoku no longer sees Tatsumi but feels his presence right behind him and *SWOOSH* all he sees is the sky above him as he feels himself begin to fall and sees the wooden sword his father is wielding strike down like a hammer into his gut *CRACK* slamming him into the ground leaving Ankoku with a concussion and many bruises from his first day of training. The family gathers around the table to eat supper, Suzumi's face is in shock as she looks upon her beaten son and exclaims,

"Oh my god, dear you didn't have to go this rough on him after all it his first day wielding a sword!"

Tatsumi looks down at Ankoku and his face has a sad expression on it as he kneels down and raises his palm towards Ankoku and all he says in a deep shallow voice

"Heal"

As he says this the bruises and scratches on Ankoku's body slowly start disappearing and the open wounds closing. Tatsumi then grabs his son and pulls him close in a tight embracing hug and says apologetically "I'm sorry, son, I love you" Ankoku hugs his father back tightly giggling and he says

"don't worry father! I loved training with you please train me everyday"

At that moment his sister,Saki, sprints out from behind and jumps on her fathers back saying

"Daddy I got you hahaha"

then his new baby brother, Roka, (two years old) stumbles towards them smiling gleefully looking excited to see his family. They then all laughed and played as Suzumi began dishing supper out and said

"Kids, dear, supper is ready!"

The children all rush to the table and sit in their chairs as Tatsumi sits in the chair at the head of the table looking at his family smiling exceptionally wide remembering when he was just a kid.

 –flashback—

"Dad I only want to make you happy and proud of m–"

At that moment he is sent hard into the wall knocking the wind out of his lungs as he grasps for breath he looks up seeing his father cast wind magic His father says

"Slyphies Wind Lances" 

*SWOOSH BAM* The wind lance digs deep into Tatsumi's stomach making him cough his blood out through his mouth, his eyes bulging with shock. Tatsumi unsheathes his sword and rushes towards his father

"ENHANCEMENT MAGIC IRON SKIN"

"ENHANCEMENT FEATHERWEIGHT"

At this moment Tatsumi disappears from sight *FLOOSH* and then he appears right at his father and swings the sword *SLASHH SWOOSH* then as soon as the sword was going to reach his father's neck his father vanishes and is standing right behind him and he says

"Fire Magic: Phoenix's Fright"

*BOOM BAM* black smoke fills the hillside. Tatsumi lay there crying as his father exclaims

"you are nothing to anyone, someone as weak as you could never truly become strong nor could he find happiness or even a produce a worthy heir. Leave my sight and never return. You are a disgrace to our family name. You are hereby excommunicated from the family if I ever see you again, you worthless son, I will kill you."

Tatsumi lay there crying and bleeding with a true hatred burning in his eyes but cannot move a single muscle and whimpers in pain as he slowly backs out.

–Flashback ended--

He then reaches his hands out and says

"Well, it's time for us to thank the gods for the food we have been blessed with"

They all lowered their heads and closed their eyes smiling. Tatsumi then raises his head and exclaims

"NOW dig in!!"
