"By the look on your face my name isn't unfamiliar to you, it makes me glad," he said and took a step forward.
Bel heard the guards shuffle on their feet. Every one of them was tense. "What do you want with me?" She asked, refusing to look away though she was itching too, however, she wasn't about to give him the satisfaction.
"Oh, nothing special. Please be at ease," he said with a smirk on his face. "I am only here to introduce myself. I assumed it was the right thing to do. After all, I am here for your wedding."
Bel didn't miss the way his eyebrows dipped as he mentioned the word 'wedding'. She thought he didn't seem too pleased about it but it might just be her reading too much in the situation.
"You didn't have to make the journey here. I understand that you might have some relationship with my father but to me, you are nothing more than a stranger. Nevertheless, nice to meet you, please leave. The castle would be more than happy to receive you."
