Sullivan arrived at the palace grounds right on time, feeling a tiny spark of excitement. For the first time, his father had requested his company, and he eagerly awaited the King's arrival beside his horse. He stood there patiently for nearly twenty minutes, his anticipation growing with each passing moment.

But the King did not appear. Concern flickered across Sullivan's face as he wondered if something had gone wrong. Just then, he noticed a servant hurrying toward him. She bowed deeply before speaking, her voice respectful yet firm.

"Your Highness, I come from the King's manor. Due to an urgent matter, the King is unable to join you for the hunt," she informed him.

Sullivan's expression remained composed as he nodded. "I see."

The servant, her message delivered, turned and swiftly departed back to the manor.
