Ren held the still huffing system and stayed near the windowsill, enjoying the feel of sunrays warming his face and body. His gaze lingered on the patients taking a stroll in the garden below. Some were running while others rested on the grass and chairs.
"Little god, should we visit the garden?" Ren had been staying in this room for far too long.
Even if he preferred to stay in his space, every once in a while, Ren used to go to the nearby park. The park where all the kids from his residential building used to play. He would only go there in the early morning or dead in the night. A perfect time to avoid humans.
"Sure-" the cub's words were cut off by another knock on his door. Ren turned around to see Fir waiting for him.
"Hello, Mr. Dorion Vitakis. I hope you are doing fine?" Its shiny metallic head tilted to one side, mimicking the curious expression of humans very vividly.
