Prakriti's P.O.V,
Gurgle...
ripple...
Beside the river Ganga, a black-haired child is sitting with his feet sinking in the water of the river flowing gently.
At first sight, he seems to be detached from the world...
'Om~'
'Om~'
...
Going down from his hairs, below the symbol of the rising sun, his eyelids are deeply tightly shut. It amplified the serene charm on his fair face.
Furthermore, a melodious sound of 'Om' is surrounding him, creating an invisible illumination which has been making the surroundings clearer and purer with each passing seconds.
Be it the birds flying in the sky, the fishes swimming in the water or the squirrels sitting on the trees, disregarding their works to collectively gazed at the miraculously charming child.
The whole area was enveloped by this strange stillness, as if to imitate the scenery of eight years ago which marked the start of this deviated present. until...
The boy opened his eyes filled with care as he gazed at the creatures staring at him with devotion. However, as soon as his gaze fell on them, they were dazed after being glanced at by the black Irises. They appeared to devour them into themselves or absorb the darkness inside them...
"Chirp~!"
A few moments later, The world returned to its previous state as the little creatures returned to their nests as the sun was setting...
Leaving behind an innocent dove chirping towards the boy in a saffron Dhoti (A Plain piece of cloth wrapped around the waist, popular in the southern part of India and in olden times).
The dove flew towards the boy and sat on his right shoulder expressing his feelings of happiness by gently rubbing his beak on the long black hairs of the boy flowing with wind.
This boy is charming, divine, contains the radiance of the Sun and yet, possesses the purity and gentleness of water...
Yes! This boy is none other than... KARNA!
A new and different one!
Bereft of the previous masculinity, worries, and depression. Currently, He is a genuine child with his own unique self, someone with free and strong will.
The silvery white dove on his shoulder is Aarav. Right now, they came to meet their foster mother, Devi Ganga.
It has become their daily routine, to gaze at their mother and converse with her one-sidedly. Though she couldn't meet them every day, they arrived here daily to recite the things they have done from morning, for they know, She is listening to their stories.
This awareness is enough for the children as it is enough for them. Normally, After completing their stories, they returned to their home to have dinner with the loving couple of Adhiratha and Radha.
But today is a little different...
...
"Aarav, let go back~"
"Chirp~"
Swish!
Swish!
Just as the duo showed their backs to the Ganges, two sharp sounds were heard in the air!
Apparently, following the movements of the duo of the boy and the dove, two lumps of water were shot straight towards them.
Even though it happened in the blink of an eye, the duo surprisingly managed to avoid it!
Aarav flew up in the sky, while Karna sidestepped to avoid that blow on his neck.
But, before they could understand what happened to them, two plain eight feet tall water giants were formed from the water of the Ganges and lunged towards Karna and Aarav with their massive stature.
Weirdly though, they neither destroyed the earth nor made any sounds with their swift running! It appeared as if they either were fake or sliding in the air!
But no matter what, Karna and Aarav have to save themselves from the giants, somehow.
Otherwise, the broken feathers of Aarav will be the least of their worries!
Seeing the humongous mass of water approaching them, Karna gave Aarav a look, it was enough for Aarav to fly higher and higher as one of the water giants stopped moving towards Aarav.
Instead he looked at the Aarav and transformed one of his arms into a whip, draining the water from the river as it attacked Aarav in one swift motion!
Swish!
Flap!
Aarav successfully avoided the attack by changing his direction mid-air.
Plop~
Boom!
Boom!
Sadly for Aarav, before he could rest a bit, a barrage of massive water balls of one meter diameter blocked his path from all four directions!
Left with no choice, He started rotating on his body, reaching an astonishing amount of angular velocity, making the air pressure concentrate at his little beak, creating an imaginary tornado in the sky!
Bang!
Pierce!
Just when the barrage was about to hit Aarav, he broke through the barrage by sheer amount of speed, piercing through the water as it was made of cotton, leaving behind a loud explosion.
Huff!
After surviving the danger, Aarav looked at the water Giant which gradually dissipated into a puddle of water before merging into the river.
Seeing the he has won, he happily looked at the other water giant attacking Karna with a long whip made of water, "Chirp~"
Karna, too, smiled slightly after glancing at Aarav, posing triumphantly as if taunting him, 'I won before you!'
Swish!
Swish!
However, he didn't have the luxury to be distracted. Faced with continuous attacks of water whips, he moved his body at the greatest speed he could muster, avoiding the attacks with a hair's breadth!
Only he can feel the amount of pressure he is in!
His day of leisure, abruptly turned into a struggle of life and death! That's how scary my sister (Niyati) is! You will not get a slightest bit of clue before being pulled into the deepest part of hell!
Fortunately, as a warrior forged in the gravest of situations, he has an abundant experience of these situations. Because of that, despite the bizarre situation he's in, he can avoid death with a calm heart.
Even then, he didn't dare to parry the attacks of the water giant, because...
Swish!
Crack!
Everywhere the water whips lands, it leaves behind a two feet deep crater on the land, showing the consequence of meeting them head-on.
Having no means of attacking the Water Giant, Karna kept dodging the attacks by side-stepping, jumping or rolling on the ground under the observation of Aarav, seeming dissatisfied with Karna for his inability to defeat his opponent!
Plop!
As the water giant waved his whip at Karna, a last time, it turned into the water before merging into the river like the previous Giant.
Huu...
Finally providing Karna some time to breathe and think about the origin of these sudden events.
Flap-Flap~
Seeing the exhausted Karna, Aarav flapped his wings and sat on the right shoulder, filling Karna with a newfound strength.
Karna and Aarav looked at each other, confused, unable to understand the sudden attack before both of them smiled inexplicably.
Unfortunately for them, their happiness was destined to be short.
Gurgle!
Drip!
Because, the river of the Ganges was merging to form a ridiculously huge Water Giant of around one fifty meters of height!
The flowing water was scooped into the massive giant as it condensed its figure and turned towards the duo.
Despite its lack of facial features and his transparent body, it looked quite menacing as Karna and Aarav appeared as insects when compared to the monstrosity!
It moved its massive but sharp claw with each of its nails being tens of meters long, towards the duo.
However, unlike before, Karna and Aarav didn't try to dodge. Not because they couldn't, rather they didn't need to.
"Chirp~"
"Hmm~"
Shine!x2
Both of them nodded to each other, before being enveloped in the illumination of silvery white and Dark golden lights, respectively!
When the lights dissipated, it revealed two figures of a dove adorned with lovely and distinctive silver feathers, emitting some silver sparkle with their each little movement, sitting on the shoulder of a armor shining in golden colour.
A boy wearing that armor and a pair of golden earrings revealed himself from the dark golden light, exposing his unnatural charm and fit body to the world!
The World basked in their aura turned, illusionary and detached, same as the beings.
Karna and Aarav opened their arms, wings, and welcomed the palm of water halfway through its journey.
There wasn't a trace of fear or uneasiness on the faces of the duo, instead, they were filled with utmost confidence as they saw the frightening attack of the water Giant.
With each passing second the palm neared the ground, the air turned turbulent, water raced hysterically, earth cried as if showing the glimpse of the apocalypse!
But...

Like the cliffhanger?
