Ezra and Colax walked through the capital; she had dragged him along. He had to wear a hood, though, because this was a time of war against the true demons. If they recognized him as a student of Baron, it would be an issue.
"So where are we going?" Ezra asked.
"Well, first, let's head to the market. There is a small festival being held there. It is to keep the minds of citizens off the war," Colax explained.
"Your information network is shocking, Colax," Ezra said.
"Well, that's my job. Now, let's get going," she said, dragging Ezra toward the place, and they finally arrived.
The place was bustling, filled with all sorts of activities, games, and food.
Colax didn't wait for Ezra; she ran into the place and started buying food while Ezra walked behind.
"Can you eat all that? You just keep buying," Ezra asked.
"I may not be able to finish them all, but I want to ensure that I taste each and every one of them," Colax said.
