Things were heading in an interesting direction and the best part was that it wasn't even close to the main event as Kenzo was still battling with humans and the demons were yet to descend upon Earth. The fact that this was what awaited them made the current situation look like child's play.

Beelithina allowed him to have her fun but she hadn't found any human as worthy as Kenzo, mankind had grown to bore her because she didn't need to even enchant them before having her way.

Kenzo was the first human that didn't get aroused by the sight of her, even gay people had to question their sexuality but things were taking too long.

Beelithina expected him to have dispatched them by now yet he hadn't.

Maybe she underestimated the people he was up against but all of this would be easy if he just transitioned.

There was no limit to the power he could have once he did that, he would be a being of his own, the first of his kind.

She could feel him getting stronger but she didn't understand why, everything that Kenzo felt, she felt because they were linked.

She had complete control in that regard and this was how she was feeding off him.

"Kenzo, what are you up to…" She muttered under her breath but she soon felt a strange sensation, it was like her spider senses were tingling despite not being one.

She recognized that something was wrong and the only time she had gotten this feeling was when she passed through the gates of hell.

"It can't be…!" Beelithina muttered under her breath, recognizing something that shouldn't have been possible.

"The gate… It is opening!?" This shouldn't be possible because it was known that demons couldn't pass through the gates, not now at least.

They could only momentarily peek through the veil if a massacre or something of that calibre was to occur.

They could predict future events and there was going to be a genocide in one of the many war-torn countries in man's never-ending need for conquest.

This would momentarily open the gates depending on the casualties and the deeds they had done in their life.

Beelithina couldn't help but search the internet to see if there had been any major event that had occurred recently but she couldn't find any.

"Could it be…" She realized that Kenzo had died and returned to life but it was for the briefest of moments.

It shouldn't have this impact in the demon world but she had underestimated how powerful Kenzo was, he had absorbed the dark matter from the flames of hell.

This was how he was able to escape it, he didn't just come back to life because the gates opened.

He came back to life because he cracked it open but of course, Beelithina didn't know this.

She couldn't have because this energy became dormant the moment he returned to life.

This was why Kenzo was evolving the way he did, there was no telling the limits of his power because he wasn't supposed to adapt to hell that quickly.

It shouldn't have been possible and Beelithina expected this to take a toll on his mind as well yet he wasn't unaffected.

It was because of that mental strain that it wasn't advisable because no one returned.

Everyone else had lost themselves but Kenzo was something different.

Now he had not only hastened the process and Beelithina now realized that she had to act urgently.

She sprung to her feet and headed out the door, the usual stares she got alerted her that she was barely clothed.

She had little to no clothes on and she had to take a deep breath to recollect herself.

She went back inside and had a change of clothes, she wore something that covered up her flesh but of course, this couldn't change the alluring scent she oozed.

The pheromones that men reacted to but where was she going?

Beelithina wasn't completely honest with Kenzo but she knew it was none of his business.

She boarded a cab and the driver was immediately enchanted by her, this meant that everything people did for her was done for free.

This was the privilege she possessed and she wasn't complaining either.

She went to a strange shrine, she made sure that no one was following her but of course, no one knew that this was a shrine.

To them, it just looked like an abandoned site because it had been destroyed millennia ago.

Beelithina had to cut open her flesh and the blood that came out of her veins was red before turning black just as fast.

She drew a pentagram on the barren ground, this was in the middle of nowhere and she had walked most of the way as the cab couldn't advance past a certain point.

She didn't mind this because fatigue didn't apply to her, this was one of the many perks of being a demon.

The pentagram was drawn and she began to chant certain words in rhythm in ancient greet.

Repeatedly; the wound that she had suffered began to bleed even more, it was like the pentagram was siphoning her blood.

And before long, it glowed in a strange light before bursting forth.

The light shot up to the sky but no human could see this supernatural act, all they felt was an aggressive gush of wind out of nowhere.

But the light solidified before breaking apart like shattered glass.

"What?" Beelithina muttered under her breath because this was something that shouldn't have happened.

"My access was… revoked!?" Beelithina muttered to herself, this was the first time that this was happening.

She could access the demon realm from this shrine, even if it was only to converse with one person, and that was her friend.

However, her access had been cut off and this could only mean one thing.

Something was responsible for it and the only way that could happen was if they were already within this realm.
