Chapter 127 Allegiance

Kumogakure.

One of the five great shinobi villages situated within the high and low canyons was currently completely enclosed by a purple barrier, within the barrier a red moon hanging high.

Near the entrance of the village most of the shinobi in the village were gathered, amounting to at least two to three thousand.

All of them had surrounded one man and had their angry gazes fixed on him, the red haired man who stood face to face to Ai, the son of Raikage and Dodai, the advisor of Raikage.

"Your purpose behind all this and to whom your allegiance truly lies, you will spit out everything"

Said Dodai who stood a little behind Ai, his gaze fixed on the man who gave the Raikage an excuse to launch a war and send thousands of shinobi's to their deaths.

Dodai who was now sure that this man could not escape their grasp wanted some real answers from him, that why was he taking away the chakra of others and which shinobi village was supporting him.

To his query the red haired man just calmly reached towards the sword on his waist and grasping the handle, spoke up.

"My purpose... my allegiance… it's all this world...

Clink!

Said the red haired man calmly as slowly he sheathed out his sword, at his words the face of Ai and Dodai changing a little.

"This world? What do you mean by that!!?" For some reason Dodai at his words seem to have lost his cool, inquiring again in a loud tone.

But this time the red haired man didn't sate Dodai's curiosity and just raised his blade high, putting on a fighting stance.

Zzzz!!!

"Hmph! Guess I'll need to rough him up to make him talk" At his silence Ai spoke up in a dangerous tone, blue lightning bursting out of him next second.

"Don't underestimate the enemy Lord Ai, he doesn't seem the type to barge in without proper assurance."

Seeing Ai riling his chakra Dodai behind couldn't help but remind him to not to let his guard down as for some reason this man was giving him a feeling he had never experienced.

It was the feeling of facing something completely unknown, his heart for this very reason hitting the walls of his chest fiercely.

"Tell everyone to move back, I'll catch him all by myself"

Zap!!

This was all Dodai heard in response to his warning from Ai as next second he saw him appearing right before the red haired man, his thunder coated fist on the course to punch through his face.

Thunder Breathing: Volt Step

"Zzzz"

"What!!"

But just when his punch was mere centimeters away from his face Ai's eyes widened as he saw the red haired man literally turning into a yellow lightning bolt, disappearing from the spot as his punch hit nothing.

"Impossible!! There's no way someone can surpass me in terms of speed!"

It took a second for the realization that the red haired man had managed to avoid his attack to hit Ai as on the spot outright denying what had just happened.

Zzzz!!

Thunder Breathing: Thunderclap Slash!

Just as Ai was trying to cope with the reality behind him yellow lightning arced and appeared the red haired man: yellow lightning arcing around his blade and cutting towards his back neck.

"Watch out!!"

Dodai who along with other kumo shinobi was watching the battle take place from a distance was the first to wake up from the shock of the red haired man dodging Ai's attack, in a panicked tone screaming on the top of his lungs.

Dodai's scream managed to bring Ai back to reality as without turning around he dashed forward though still not able to escape the attack completely.

Thwack!!

Aghh!!

Blood flew around as at some distance from the red haired man appeared Ai with a diagonal red line on his back, blood seeping out of it as he couldn't help groan in pain a little.

Zzzz!!!

But this pain only seemed to have worked as a fuel to Ai's anger; the lightning around him intensifying as turning around he flashed towards him.

"Lariat!!!"

Appearing before the opponent Ai tried to smash his thunder coated arm towards his neck but the blunt side of the blade appearing before his attack.

BOOM!!!

The arm hit the blade and at the moment of impact air pressure generated from the collision spread out in every direction and even the ground under cracked, though a look of disbelief of Ai's face.

"This… just where is this power coming from…?"

Muttered Ai as his shocked filled eyes on the man who hadn't budged a step from his place, the blunt side of the blade firmly stopping his thunder coated arm.

Only Ai knows how much force is behind his lariat attack, even a tailed beast would topple down after getting hit by it but the opponent had managed to neutralize all the force behind it so easily, looking at the slim body of the opponent he couldn't help but imagine where was all this physical power coming from.

BOOM!!!

Just as Ai was having a hard time getting into terms with what was happening, from the blade that stopped his arm a massive force acted and propelled him back dozens of steps.

Thud!

Digging his feet into the ground Ai stopped his backward movements but before he could even do anything next, from afar yellow light blinded his eyes.

Thunder Breathing Sixth Form: Rumble and Flash!

A series of lightning slashes approached Ai in an instant who could only intensify the lightning chakra coating his body and bring his both arms before his chest.

Thwack!!

Aghh!!

The lightning slashes broke through the lightning chakra armor with fair ease and struck Ai, blood splashing as on his both arms before his chest numerous gruesome wounds, his painful groans spreading around.

Swish!

With his arms going limp from the attacks, Ai raised his head to look ahead but only saw a tuft of red hair as the blade coated with lightning appeared inches away from his neck.

Swish!!

But at the last moment the red haired man suddenly withdrew his attack and jumped back as powerful gusts of wind hitting the place where he just was, next second shadows flashing and covering Ai.

"This monster!!"

The red haired man not showing a hint of exhaustion just looked ahead, most of kumo shinobi protecting Ai who was seriously injured by him and looking at him with anger and some fear, Dodai at front already tagging the red haired man as a monster.
