While even the regular private rooms and other pavilions feature a selection of ancient paintings and ceramics, the most exquisite and valuable artworks and decorations were reserved for this pavilion. It seems that pieces not fitting the pavilion's aesthetic were likely relocated to other rooms and pavilions to ensure nothing went to waste.
