THE NEXT DAY
By the time Mr.Hargrove and the others woke up, I had prepared a large breakfast for them.
"You woke early today, Lucian," Mr. Hargrove walked in slowly using his cane.
"I slept early last night, and I woke up more refreshed than usual,"
"Did that lousy child of mine come knocking again?"
"He did actually, he didn't say much but he left a letter for you," I replied.
"He did? Quickly read it!"
"Yes, sir." I opened the letter and began reading through it.
**Father,**
I hope this letter finds you well, though I doubt you will be pleased to hear from me after my recent visits. I write to you not just to apologize but to explain myself, however clumsily.
