"He's dead and you had no idea?" Xi Ligui frowned at him.
"No, I didn't know," the man was pushed back by the team members and quickly added, "I even delivered breakfast to his room this morning."
Xi Ligui sized him up and down, noting his legs were quaking, which didn't seem feigned.
She instructed the team members, "Keep an eye on everyone and bring them all back to the association for questioning."
The team members dispersed, gathering all the servants and guards together.
Inside the room.
Wu Heng examined the corpse and summoned Ghost to search the surrounding area.
But there weren't many obvious clues.
"How is it?" Xi Ligui walked over and asked.
"He hasn't been dead for very long, seems to have been around the same time as us," Wu Heng replied.
Xi Ligui frowned and gave the body another look, "The killer took his head, probably to prevent you from performing Wenshi."
"Most likely."
