Lewis staggered to the ground, his hands clutching at his neck as he struggled to draw in breath, his face slowly returning to its normal color. He looked at Lucien full of disgust and rage.
No one dares to attack him in a dirty way like that! The woman were bitches, it was clear from the clothes and it was evident enough that they wanted to attract men with that body.
Why did the man in front of Lewis who saw him as if he was a disgusting parasite get enraged? He couldn't let it slide. He has never been disrespected like this his whole life.
"You filthy bastard! If you have the guts, let's settle this with a fair duel!" Lewis's voice boomed, his pride wounded and his ego bruised.
Lucien furrowed his brows, he brushed his palm that have fresh scars all over it because of that dickhead.
He wanted to accept the challenge, to put this insolent fool in his place, but his father's eyes said "no" so for now he would comply.
While Robby looking at how stupid his fellow was, he put his sword back into his sheath and said, "Don't listen to this jackass, Lucien-"
"Don't you dare call my name with the dirty mouth of yours," Lucien cut his words with a sharp tongue.
"Ah, my apologies, esteemed village chief," Robby smiled even when he wanted to slash Lucien, but he needed to be patient, "We came here seeking refuge, and it would be impolite to treat your guests with such hostility."
"You are not my guests," Lucien retorted bluntly.
Lewis suddenly chimed in, he wasn't about to back down. "Shut it, Robby! I want a duel with him! We'll tear this place apart anyway," he declared, his smirk widening as he turned his attention back to Lucien.
"Are you afraid? Let's make a wager: if I win, I take one of those cunt, but if you win, you can do whatever you want to me."
Lewis then pointed at Lithira and Brigantiea who watched the spectacle with different expressions. "I will make them my sex slaves and break them after that I will sell them to whatever man wants that garbage!" he then spit.
The last sentence from Lewis was enough to make Lucien open the gate of hell as he clenched his jaw. But he knew he had to listen to his dad's advice, but damn, it was hard not to snap at that jerk.
But for some reason, Cassius pushed him and said, "Fight him, son. Don't let that fuckers insult your woman."
Lucien smirked, "Pass me the sword, Auden," his voice steady but the rage simmering beneath. Auden quickly handed him his sword to him.
Lucien felt the weight of the sword in his hand, it was more heavier than the katana he used to draw. Since he was a kid, his mother personally taught her kendo*, from the wooden sword until he could use a real sword.
Although, he stopped learning all of that when he went to college. After all, why bother with learning a sword when he had his looks and charm to rely on?
It was also one of the reason he choose Mage class and he regret it since he could easily learn sword again.
Meanwhile, Robby just sighed and chucked his sword at Lewis without a word. He caught it with a sick grin, clearly itching for a fight.
Lewis the one who initiated the fight, lunged forward with his sword, aiming to strike Lucien, but he effortlessly parried the attack, his movements fluid and controlled.
"I will fuck all of your women while your head lying on the floor." Lewis spat at Lucien's face, his voice dripping with malice.
Lucien with his crooked smile answered, "In your dream," delivering a swift kick to Lewis's leg that sent him stumbling backward.
Lewis didn't give up, he grind his teeth and kept doing the same move until Lucien got bored and when he saw an opening, he seized the opportunity, kicking up a cloud of dust that blinded Lewis.
Lewis covered his eyes instinctively with his hands, "You dirty rat!" he screamed while struggling to clear his vision.
Lucien paid no mind. He advanced toward Lewis and punched his face while giving back the spat he gave. With swift precision, he struck his back with the blunt edge of his sword, causing him to wince in agony before delivering a knee to his stomach.
"Ugh!" Lewis winched in pain, he dropped his sword.
Finally, he seized Lewis by the hair, forcing him to meet his gaze. "A fair fight's no fun without a little dirt, right?" he taunted, his voice dripping with scorn.
"Maybe next time, use that brain of yours before running your mouth."
Lucien dropped Lewis's body, his nose was broken and full of blood while he lying on the ground, trying to catch his breath.
He watched as Lewis struggled to rise, his body battered and broken. With a chuckle, he approached him, tossing Lewis's sword at his feet.
"What happens? You cannot fight anymore? Where is your spirit when you said you want to fuck my woman go?" Lucien chuckled and take his sword.
"Stand up and fight or you will die in my hand," Lucien said menacingly while throw the crowd at him.
Grabbing the sword, Lewis attempted to muster one final attack, his movements feeble and uncoordinated. It was almost pitiful to watch, like a child playing with a plastic sword.
Lucien sighed in exasperation, delivering another swift kick to his stomach, and sending him crashing back to the ground.
"Huu... Ugh...."
With Lewis writhing in agony, Lucien pointed the sword at him, his eyes glinting with malice. "You said I could do whatever I want, didn't you? Let me tell you what will happen to your dead body." he sneered.
Leaning in close, he whispered, "I will decapitate your head, send your body to the wood so the monster could enjoy, and I will display your head in this village gate to warn another scum like you who dares to cross me."
Lewis realized he was fucked up and then started to plead, he was crying nonsense, and even kneeling in front of Lucien.
"Forgive me! I was wrong! I'm just a fool beggar, please don't kill me." he said.
Lucien just smiled watching the spectacle in front of him, he couldn't help but notice the range of reactions among the villagers.
Some of them were scared, some of them angry because of the bandit, and some of them looked satisfied with what Lucien did.
Cassius looks proud of his son. While Brigantiea looks like she would give him the best gift in bed and Lithira looks relieved.
Lucien could also heard the notification from the system coming in:
[Loyalty increased +5]
[Loyalty increased +10]
[Loyalty increased +10]
It keep ringing nonstop, but it only for loyalty. Still he was happy since loyalty rate was hard to increased.
'Well, now. What should I do to him.' he thought to himself.
Lewis already did unforgivable things and Lucien couldn't forgive him easily. The hatred in his heart was still burning as he lifted his sword ready to decapitate his head.
It was easy for him, it was not the first time he killed a person. Lewis would be the fourth person he killed with his hands.
But before he could act, a sudden movement caught him off guard. A dagger hurtled through the air, aimed straight at Lucien. He turned just in time to see it coming, but it was too late to avoid.
This is the first time I made a villain that only exists for MC punching bag lol
