My goal was not to defeat the final boss of the game or the Ten Evils. It was reaching Rank 1 of Villain League and fulfilling my wish.

My time limit was not 10 years

5 years. 

I had 5 years to reach the top of the Villain League.

There was no need for me to become the strongest. I did not need to fight the Ten Evils. I would return to my world after 5 years — this would be the thought process of someone who had not played Destiny Fall as much as I did.

Destiny Fall was messed up.

Here, anything and everything was out to get you.

Going to fight a portal? Well, your teammates betrayed you. Now you have to fight monsters and metahumans.

Want to recruit a character? Too bad, the character died while you were not paying attention.
