Chapter 6: Arch Enemy.

A middle aged woman probably in her late forties laid on a bed soundly asleep in a room which was filled with hospital equipment though basing on its environment, it wasn't a hospital room but rather a private room.

There was total silence in the room and the only sound heard were the beeps from the machines connected on the woman. Her sound sleep was finally ended when she suddenly had a nightmare which made her toss on the bed.

A young girl who looked to be in her early 20s who was soundly sleeping on a couch beside the bed was forced to suddenly wake up from her sleep from the woman's tossing.

She quickly ran out of the room to fetch help as she could not manage to calm down the woman on the bed.

The woman's dream....

A young man in his middle 20s was panickingly packing money bundle s in a brief case. In his left hand, he held a gun making it evident that he was some gangster.

The door suddenly opened which made the man point his gun to shoot whoever comes in but however he sighed in relief as he saw a girl (The woman dreaming but now in her early 20s) coming in while holding a five year old boy.

The woman tells him the police had arrived while tears fell down her face. Two men came in later who looked to be the man's gaurds. He instructed them to take his wife and child to safety while he remained to buy them some time to escape.

The girl seeing that her husband is remaining behind, refuses to leave but she's carried away by one of the guys. They get into a car which finally zoomed off leaving the man behind.

Back to present.

A young man seated on a couch in a dimly lit room and the only source of light being the table lamp placed on the table next to where the he is seated.

In his hands is a news paper and on the front page are pictire taken from the incident at the JK corp headquarters with a headline reading."CEO OF JK CORP FINALLY TRANSFERS HEADQUARTERS TO THE CAPITAL."

The man remained staring at the news paper with a smile on his face and thought to himself." So you've finally fallen for my trick.... It's time for your down fall." He was still deep in his thoughts when the door thumped open and in came a panting girl.

"Big bro ..... It's mum... She's having the nightmares again." The girl said still panting and holding her chest with both her hands.

The guys eyes widened gazing at the girl and without waiting for any other word, stood up running in towards the room where his mother was.

The two siblings ran through the long corridor which led to a room at the end of it where their mother was being treated. They found her still tossing on the bed while slowly muttering... "John ... Please John .. please don't leave me alone..."

The guy reached for a syringe and in it placed some liquid which he got from the bedside table, he slowly injected her through the vien which calmed her down. The girl watched helplessly as tears run down her cheeks.

After seeing that the woman was now sleeping peacefully. Josh stood up from the bed with anger vivid on his face. "They will have to pay..." He muttered while punching the wall next to him.

Lil Joe was outside his sister's house watering the flowers. His thoughts for once hadn't left the girl he met the other day. There was no word appropriate enough to describe the feeling he felt whenever he thought about her. He had tried hard not to think about her but all his efforts were all in vain.

He found it hard living for a day without seeing her and at least talk about her. He didn't know why suddenly he had wanted to know more about her since he kept pestering his sister to tell him more about the girl.

As he was still deep in his thoughts, he noticed a familiar car which had just parked next door. His expression lightened up knowing well whose car it was. It was Belinda's his one and only tomboy.

The girl came out of the car and sauntered towards her sister's house. As usual, she was wearing some big t shirt coupled with shorts and hardly had any makeup on her.

She didn't mind the boy staring at her probably because she hadn't noticed that he was standing a few metres away.

Lil Joe's stares didn't leave the girl for a second not until she got inside the house. A smile appeared on his face and talking to no one but himself slowly muttered."Wow she's so cute. I'm I actually falling for her."

Belinda was surprised finding the main entrance to her sister's house not locked because she didn't expect her to be up at this time.

She continued to the master bedroom where she found the two girls still sleeping peacefully. Sighing deeply, she went towards the bed shoveling away the blanket from the two girls.

" Wake-up.... Wake up..." The girl annoyingly called out forcing the girls to break the shell of slumber.

"Did you block mum and dad ... They tried reaching out on you but they couldn't so they sent me here to fetch you." Belinda added now looking at her sister who was yawning sleepily.

Belinda moved to the kitchen to make breakfast while Lian moved to the bathroom to take a shower leaving behind Lauren who had now gone back to sleep.

After showering, Lian put on her clothes then left for the kitchen where her sister was now done preparing breakfast.

After having breakfast both sisters left in Belinda's car leaving behind Lauren who was still sleeping and Joe who was still out watering the flowers as he so them leaving after waving at them with a smile plastered on his cheeks.
