"Wow, a total of +1400 increase of my INT, reaching a total of 1790. With this, I don't need to trouble myself much about MP regeneration or spell-casting time. From now on it would be easier and faster to cast spells. Now all I have to wonder is about how to increase my MP reserve to keep up with powerful casting", Chris thought.
With such an increase in his attributes, very few can challenge him in his rank and all of them are ones who were raised by using treasures and are rich and noble.
An increase in INT would mean that his depleted mana would be refilled faster and the cast time would be small but the problem remained with his mana reserve. He can practically spam others with low-level spells but high-level spells require a lot of mana at once, which can't be cast without a higher mana reserve.
Only when his mana increased could he be able to cast devastating spells that have the power to destroy cities with a single cast.
Though he has no plans to destroy cities and cause havoc, when facing hundreds of thousands of enemy troops, spells of this calibre would help a lot. Especially with the threat of the Abyssal Invasion in the near future where the worlds have to face millions of abyssal creatures attacking the towns and cities, such powerful spells are very useful.
Facing enemies such as abyssal creatures, it would be better and safer to deal with them hastily.
"Anyway, learning and using spells like that would for much later in time. For now, with this high MP regeneration reduced casting time, I can clear dungeons faster. Let's clear this dungeon first. I can think about other things in a relaxed manner, later", Chris thought out loud.
He stood up from his rest and restarted the hunting.
---
It didn't take Chris long to hunt down the remaining monsters. Though they were seven or eight levels higher than him, with his high INT, he spammed them with spells, making them fall faster than a level one rabbit.
If anyone saw this scene, these level 35 & 36 monsters would lose their dignity. Luckily there were none other than the evildoer himself and also these monsters though are of high level and exhibited intelligence befitting a high-level monster, they were created a few hours ago. So they didn't lose even a bit of their dignity.
[You have killed Snow Leopard, Level 35]
[You have gained +20 INT.]
[You have killed thirty-five level 35 monsters. You have gained +700 INT.]
[You have killed Frost Bear, Level 36.]
[You have gained +24 INT.]
[You have killed thirty-five level 36 monsters. You have gained +840 INT.]
"Hahaha, 700 and 840 increase in INT, totalling 1540. The total gain is higher than I got from killing monsters before these two levels. I killed 140 monsters but only gained 1400 INT but now I only hunted half of them but gained 1540, which was 140 higher than what I got for hunting two-thirds of the monsters.
Indeed the main gains of the Nightmare mode would be only available as we hunt higher monsters. Getting eliminated by lower monsters would only cause losses. I lost a lot last time. If only I had been stronger back then, everything would have been better.
Hmm, it doesn't matter now anyway. With such an increase I could easily sweep away enemies that I lost to in past life", Chris muttered.
[Congratulations player "Voyd" for clearing the Attribute dungeon in Nightmare Mode.]
[As the first to clear this dungeon, you would gain ownership of this dungeon.]
[You have gained an Attribute Dungeon Core.]
"Huh, with this I now possess two dungeons. For now I could only keep them here and would move them away later when I find a place for myself".
"System, send me to the safe zone".
[Player is being relocated to the safe zone.]
Swoosh!
Within seconds Chris returned to the same safe zone he was in before he attempted the dungeon clearing.
He thought of the new dungeon core he obtained, and commanded, "Dungeon, prepare another scenario of the dungeon in Nightmare mode".
[Command received.]
[Dungeon creation in progress...]
[Time left: 04:00:00 hrs.]
"Good, I would brush this dungeon once again in four hours. For now, I have to leave the game and prepare lunch. It's almost lunchtime. I hope Abby won't take this as me neglecting her", Chris muttered as he logged off the game.
---
When Chris logged out of the game, it was lunchtime and he saw that Abby was waiting at the lunch table. he felt bad that he was so immersed in the game and was thinking about the future, neglected the present which he vowed that he wouldn't do.
He didn't want to lose diamond he has the moment in the search for gold.
The present we live in is the diamond that we should all strive to preserve and not in an uncertain future where anything could happen at any time, making us lose the diamonds we hold and regret it later.
"Sorry Abby, I was so immersed that there was a delay in lunch. Please wait for some time and it will be ready", Chris said as he walked over to his sister.
Abby put on a happy smile and said, "Don't worry brother. It wasn't a problem. I can wait for a few minutes".
Seeing her smile, Chris felt a pang in his heart. He knew that his sister was hungry but was never demanding anything from him. He decided to make a cake for her as an evening snack for his mistake.
He was doing everything that he could so that he could ensure that his sister would be free but he kept forgetting about her in this moment. She would understand everything in the future but at this moment, she would still feel the hurt.
Chris smiled back and went on to prepare the lunch.
